Once again Saturday's here...which means it's time for another sketch by Jo over at SKETCH SATURDAY,brill sketch again thanks Jo :0).
I've totally lost my mojo,must be still on holiday in Cyprus....LOL,i've never before made cards and thrown them in the bin...this week 3 have ehded up in there! and i'm not happy with this one either.
For my card i used a Whimsy digi "Witch's Broom"by Katie of Big Hug Creations,coloured with Copic Markers and Prisma's.I've added alittle glamour dust to her shoes...she seem's a glamourous witch to
The papers are Basic Grey "Offbeat",i think these work well for Halloween.
For the sentiment "BOO" i've used Doodlebug rub-ons all mixed up in lime green.
The bat and the hands are from a mixed bag of Halloween stuff from Poundland.

Morning from a very wet West Midlands,a big difference from a very hot and sunny Cyprus last week....we got back late on Sunday evening,but hubby had the day off yesterday we had some appointments and things to sort out so not really back to normal untill today.
Sorry this card should have been posted yesterday for the new challenge this week at POLLYCRAFT.....this week we have a sketch for you to follow by MARIT....lovely to work with hope you'll all come and join in.

The two images and both sentiments are all from the same Pollycraft Mini doodles set "MR and MRS".I've just used a black fine liner to colour some of the hearts on each of the images and then added alittle glamour dust to the others.
I've used a Crafts Too "Hearts" embossing folder to do the embossing and the large black heart gems are from Hobbycraft.
All layers have been edged using a silver ink pad.

Well that's about it for now...must start on the pile of washing,will try to visit you all tonight to see what you've been up to while i've been away.

LOVE YOU......

Well if yesterday's post worked hopefully this one as too!...
We have a fabby sketch for you today over at JUST CUTE BEARS...the sketch is by Helen one of my teamies...a dream to work with ,the sketch that is,well and Helen...LOL.
I've used a Pollycraft image from the Benji and Bex set "For My Valentine"...coloured with Copic markers and Prisma's.
The paper is Basic Grey "Ambrosia"
For the "you" i've used Doodlebug rub-ons...all mixed up (large).
Self adhesive pearls from stash.

Sorry it's abit short and i said in yesterdays post hopefully in a couple of days i should be back to normal and creating,posting and blogging including visiting everyone more than i have in recent weeks.

Well with a bit of luck you will be reading this post....i'm actually in Cyprus and have scheduled this so i'm hoping it's worked!
Another fab sketch this week by Jo..over at SKETCH SATURDAY i have rotated it to suit the image i wanted to use....this gorgeous snowman "Basil" is a digital image from Pollycraft,i've coloured him using Koh-I-Noor woodless colouring pencils,my favourite medium at the moment.I've added a touch of glamour dust to the fur trim on is hat and mits and plenty of stickles to the snow.
The papers are again from my everlasting DCWV Christmas stack.
The snowflake border was made with a Fiskars punch and the snowflakes with Xcut punches.
For the sentiment i've used Doodlebug rub-ons.
Ribbon and self adhesive pearls are from my stash mountain :0).

Well i'm sure we would have had a good turn out last week...with plenty of gorgeous entries,so thank you and hope to see you all again this week.I should be home late tomorrow evening so hopefully will be back to normal in a few days...after all the washing and ironing :0(.

Saturday seem's to roll round at the blink of an eye lately...where does the time go?there's never enough of it for
Never mind it does mean that it's time for another fabby sketch by Jo over at SKETCH SATURDAY and this week it was a dream to work with :0).
We had a lovely turn out again last week,hope you will join us again this week.We are sponsored by DIGITAL DELIGHTS and the winner this week will have a $10.00 gift certificate to spend in the store.

I love this POLLYCRAFT image "Willie" and i've wanted to use him for sometime now but hadn't got round to it...the sketch this week was just perfect for it.I've coloured him using Promarkers and Koh-I-Noor woodless colouring pencils.
The papers are from a never ending DCWV Christmas paper's a good job i love them :0).
The embossed panel's been done using a Crafts Too "Stars Frame" embossing folder.
The star shapes have been cut out using the "Stars" spellbinders dies.
I've computer generated the sentiment using "Chocolate Box" font.
Everything as been edged with "Old Paper" Distress Ink.

I'm also entering this card into AUD SENTIMENTS CHALLENGE.....this week the sentiment should be "Anything that has to do with a baby"

For my card i decided you go for an easel shape and to use the new "Autumn Harvest Ride" by Crissy this image and such a dream to colour.I've used a mixture of Copic markers and Koh-I-Noor woodless colouring pencils,blended with Sansador.

The pole and the harnesses have been gold leafed,i've added gold glamour dust to the tassels and finished off with three self adhesive pearls.

The sentiment which i've also gold leafed around the edge is a new release today from Raindrop Echo Designs "Autumn Sentiments"...these are just perfect,resize and print to suit your needs.

The leaves i've cut using a Spellbinders die and coloured them using Distress Inks and then sprayed them with "Rich Gold"glimmer mist...gorgeous IRL,hard to capture in the photo.

Well yesterday i said i would have a bit of exciting news for you,i've been bursting to tell you but have contained untill today when i've offically taken up my position on the POLLCRAFT DT...i'm chuffed to bits!...Paula asked me a few weeks back but somehow managed to keep it under my belt untill today :0)
So this is my POLLYCRAFT CHALLENGE card....this week the theme "It's A Fairytale" as been picked by Maria...hope you will all come over and join in on the fun,there was a fantastic turn out last week hope to see you all again this week.
For my card i've used "STAR FAIRY" coloured with kOH-I-Noor woodless colouring pencils,blended with Sansador.I've coloured the background in black,i wanted it to be night time,then i've added glamour dust all over the black area,really sparkly IRL,not showing very good in the photo,it looks patchy :0(....i'm really pants at taking photo's,i think i need a few lessons.
The backing paper is Pink Petticoat "Spooky Doodles",the sentiment which i've heat embossed in gold is from the Whiff Of Joy "Fairy Useful Sayings".
The leaves have been punched with a L-Em punch,flower brad and adhesive pearls from stash.

It's time for another challenge over at JUST CUTE BEARS...YAY,now where's that fortnight gone?...this week our theme is "BABY",with the bonus challenge of gingham paper and ribbon...well i'm sure you will agree no hardship there :0)
I've gone for a slightly different shaped card this week and not the usual pale pink,blue or lemon colour scheme you would normally use for a baby card.
The two bear images are both from Elzybells,sadly now closed down...but as one door closes another one opens and i'm pleased to say that Elizabeth will be designing for Penny cool is that.
I've coloured the images with Koh-I-Noor woodless colouring pencils,blended with Sansador.
The gingham cardstock is DCWV "Nana's Kitchen" and the textured cardstock also DCWV.
The sentiment and letters are rub ons.
The ballon punch is Xcut,ribbon,button and adhesive pearls from stash.

For my card i decided to use this new gorgeous digi image "Anna's Hallowe'en" by Crissy Armstrong available now from Whimsy Stamps.....i must say a dream to colour :0),i've used a different colouring medium on this one,Koh-I-Noor woodless colouring pencils and blended with Sansador.
The digi sentiment tickets are by Raindrop Echo Designs also from Whimsy Stamps...these are just perfect,make them any size you want to suit your needs.
The papers are Basic Grey "Ambrosia"...i love the colours in this pad.
The cobweb and spider stamp in the corner i purchased from the NEC,sorry there's no make,one of those bargain bucket things :0)...i so love a bargain!
I've sparkled the trim on Anna's dress alittle with some glamour dust and on the bows on her shoes...not showing too good,and self adhesive pearls from stash.

Well i'll start with some exciting news....well it's exciting for me..LOL,i 've been asked by Denise from Whimsy Stamps to join the Digital DT..."WOO HOO"...thank you for having me on board!
So this is my first project...sorry not much colouring and must say it myself not very good photo's either :0(...i decided to make a swing card...big the style of the card just a nightmare to photograph.

I've used the new "Halloween Sentiments" and "Halloween Ticket Sentiments" by Raindrop Designs,both sets available now from Whimsy Stamps.These can be used alone as a focal point on your card or to accent your images...
The paper is Pink Petticoat from the "Spooky Doodles" set which i've distressed using Black Soot Distress Ink around the edge.
The image when printed out is just black and white,i just added alittle colour to it using Ptromarkers.
The bats,spider,ribbon and hairy braid (which i think looks like spiders legs) all from stash.
I've made a treats box to go with the card,it contains witches i must add,i've taken two out of their packets just to use for display so that you could see what i'd added to the box.

HI THERE!......

Well today over at SKETCH SATURDAY we have a fabby sketch for you to work with.....Paula's designed the sketch this week(gives Jo a well deserved week off) and Paula from POLLYCRAFT is also our sponsor this week...there's a fantastic prize up for grabs for one lucky winner,check out challenge blog for full details....

So for my card this week i've used a gorgeous Pollycraft image from the Lilybean Fairies "Dancing With Dragonflies",i've used Copic markers and Prisma's for my colouring medium and finished off with alittle glamour dust on her wings,dragonfly and tiny flowers,well every fairy needs some sparkle...LOL.
I've actually made a shaker will see from the photo below i've added some bugle beads...the white Petaloo flowers and punched leaves at the bottom hide the beads,so makes for a extra suprise..
The white card's been embossed using a Crafts Too 5x5 "Dots" embossing folder.
The papers are SU and the sentiment is MFT "Essential Sentiments".
