STAMP WITH STAMPAVIE 17.....AT LONG LAST A CARD

Well it seems like forever since i last put a card on my blog...this is my DT card this week for Stamp With Stampavie, hope you will all be joining in with us,don't forget you're not limited to Sarah Kay stamps only anymore you can now use Rachel Ann Miller too...
The sketch this week is by Jacqueline one of our DT,and i must say a lovely sketch to work with...i've actually rotated the sketch because i wanted to use another of my new SK Christmas stamps"Angels Rejoice.
I stamped the image onto acetate with a black stazon ink pad,and then on the reverse side coloured parts with Promarkers and glittered the rest using Art Institute dries clear adhesive and ultra fine glitter,it's the first time i've attempted this and it may be the last....lol.
I used the front of an aperture card over the acetate, mounted this on dimensional tape onto the other piece of the card so as to have a plain background and raised from the patterned base card.
The paper is from DCWV Christmas stack.
The flowers and leaves are Papermania, the leaves i coloured with a green permanent marker. The gem brad in the center is also Papermania.
I used 4 lengths of the narrow velvet ribbon to form a broader band, this was from my local market.
Pearls, gem and beads for the hatpin all from stash, letters also coloured with permanent marker and mounted onto card cut using nesties.
The photo's aren't too good,i had a right game trying to get anything like a decent photo because of the acetate, any amount of light kept reflecting off it.

Stunning card Sandra! I love the stamp and what you've done with it is so beautiful even if you might not do it again LOL! The effect is so beautiful. I've been wanting to make one of those lovely beaded hat pins for a while now, yours is so pretty. I have beads already but I can't find the hat pins anywhere. If you know where I could get some, I'd really appreciate the info. Take care. Chris x

Amazing love how you've used the aperture card as a frame - brilliant idea!
I've been having such hassle with photos recently too - I think I need a photo tent thingy!!
