CHRISTMAS WISHES.....

Hi everyone....thought i'd share a card with you today that i made yesterday, not for any challenge, just one of three quick and simple ones for my Christmas box,i'm way behind this year!.I've used a Papermania scalloped card for the base, matted and layered using Anna Griffin cardstock from a Christmas kit i got from QVC two years ago.The image is from "Banner Of Joy" by Penny Black which i've stamped out twice using a green ink pad which also came in the Anna Griffin kit,so matches the cardstock perfectly.I cut part of the second image and 3d'd it using Pinflair glue gel...see photo below.I've finished the flower off with some pale green adhesive gems.I'm unsure of the make of the sentiment stamp, but this is the only one i could find that would fit nicely into the Making Memories label holder. All edges have been aged using Antique Linen Distress Ink.
Well thats about it,i would like to thank all who left comments on my last card,it had been so long from when i last posted/blogged and i really appreciate each and everyone of them,i must say i'm finding it really difficult trying to get back into my crafting/blogging,i feel like a fish out of water and haven't done any colouring of images for 3 months,i'm beginning to wonder whether i will still know how!I used to take my cards to show my mom who would scrutinize every inch of it....she had always worked as a table hand in the printing trade untill she retired she had a good eye for detail, and a very honest opinion of my work, she would always tell me if something wasn't quit right or if she didn't like anything, everything now just seem's so pointless,i miss my mom so much!I'm finding it difficult to move on and am coping less now than i did when she first died...time's a good healer i know.Sorry to have gone all morbid on you,it's could to put down into words how i'm feeling.
Take care all
San x
