FUNKY FAIRY'S SKETCH CHALLENGE 35...

Over at Funky Fairy's this week challenge 35 is a sketch and a theme of non traditional Christmas,i've used Funky Fairy's download "Chocolate Covered Christmas Kit",which i actually won from challenge 34....couldn't wait to use this kit the colours are yummy,chocolate,lime,cream and pinks,"gorgeous".

The paper i decided to use from the download is abstract looking and so went along that route with my card,no colouring,quick but effective,different from my usual,but hey change is as good as a rest...lol.

Shapes cut out using nestabilities,sentiment from Penny Black Christmas Critters stamped using Versafine Vintage sepia,glitter and gems from stash.

SKETCH(#18) SATURDAY and PENNY BLACK CHALLENGE 16 "SEASONS"

I've combined two challenges today,Sketch saturday(sketch#18) and PennyBlack Challenge 16 which is "Seasons"....
I've gone for the easy option by deciding to use "Winter" as my season,well thats another Christmas card out the way.
The stamp i've used is Penny Black ""Wishes For Kisses",i love this stamp,coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's and alittle diamond stickles on the snow.I've 3d'd is scarf but it's not showing up that well in the photo,matted and layered using nestabilities.
The paper is printed off a Funky Hand Cd "Yule Be Funky".
Corners and letters all cut on my Wizard,the alphabet is called "Vintage",and the ribbon is from my stash.

Well here we go....my hubby would be better writing this about me,than me...lol
1:Love chocolate,and have to have my daily fix of at least one bar of some sort each day,i'm a size 10,but my hubby say's i should be double that with the amount i eat.
2:I'm terrified of heights,i don't even like getting on a pair of step ladders...but love getting on a plane...but i suppose thats alittle different.
3:I don't always think before i speak,i tend to be very up front with people and sometimes this doesn't go down too well,but i expect the same from other people,can't stand liar's and b*********S,see what i mean,perhaps i shouldn't have put this....lol
4:Like my own company,perhaps thats got alot to do with fact No 3,i'm not painting myself too good here am i ?
5:Not keen on the Soaps,hubby likes them more than i do.
6:I would rather give than receive,i always get embarassed when i'm given a gift and somehow it makes me feel sad or should i say touched and normally end up crying,now i'm embarassed for telling you all that...lol
7:I have one regret,i have only one son,who is now 25,and being an only child myself always longed for a big family,but somethings are not meant to be....so now i'm hoping eventually to have loads of grandchildren.

FRIDAY SKETCHERS....SKETCH 21 BY MUMUR.

This week over at Friday Sketchers the sketch as been done by Mumur,what a great sketch this was to work with.The postman delivered a lovely package yesterday of some new Sugar Nellie Christmas stamps i'd purchased from Funkykits a few days before,i couldn't wait to get one of these babies inked up,the only problem was which one was it going to be...lol
I finally decided to use "Snowman With Gift"which i coloured using Promarkers and Prisma's,cut out using nestabilities,i've used brads from my stash for the buttons down his belly.
The papers are all HOTP cardmakers Christmas,and one piece of white card i've used the cuttlebug snowflakes embossing folder on.
The snowflake embellishments have all been cut on my Wizard,the silver puffy one found in my bit box.
The sentiment stamp is by Hero Arts and ribbon from stash.

Whiff Of Joy,challenge 1 is a sketch by Katharina,and i must say a great sketch to work with.I've used another new stamp today which i had a few weeks back but just hadn't got round to using it,too many stamps,so little time...lol
Whiff Of Joy stamp "Melinda reading book"coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's cut out and raised using 3d foam pads.I wanted to make Melinda a bit of a dark angel,not evil,but alittle naughty,reading the hidden secrets of her diary...lol,her face is a bit red,is she blushing or have i gone ott on the cheeks...lol
