PENNY BLACK SATURDAY CHALLENGE......WEEK 34.

I'm sorry to say that it's been a good few weeks since i last joined in with the Penny Black Saturday Challenge.....i so love PB stamps,when i saw this weeks challenge was to make a round card i knew i had to join in....i've been meaning to have a go at one of these cards for a while now.
The image i've used is from the T for Transparent "Every Which Way",coloured with Prisma's and blended with Sansador.I've used some mini paper flowers where the flowers are on the image to give it some dimension.All layers cut using nesties,the top layer as been mounted on 3d foam pads to raise it slightly from the base layers.
The sentiment is also from the same "Every Which Way" set.

2 IN 1.....WOJ CHALLENGE#16 and CCT BOTH VALENTINES

A quick card to cover two challenges....WOJ and CCT both this week have the same theme of Valentines.
The WOJ stamp i've used is from the "Elizabeth Bell accessories and sentiments set",coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's,i stamped the image twice and cut out the centre heart on the second image and 3d'd it with silicone.
The paper and sentiment are both from a Pink Petticoat download "Just an old fashioned girl",great quality print out,if you've never tried Pink Petticoat they're worth giving a go i know you won't be disapointed.
I've edged each of the layers on the nesties and card with Distress Ink "Antique Linen",ribbon and heart charms all from stash.

STAMP WITH STAMPAVIE....CHALLENGE 28

Firstly i would like to thank everyone who joined us last week at Stamp With Stampavie....what gorgeous cards you all made,hope you will be able to find a spare minute(well maybe hour or two...lol) to join us this week,look forward to visiting your Blogs.

Challenge 28 this week is a sketch by our guest designer Sorellina....another fabby sketch to work with,and this week i have used a Sarah Kay stamp "Mummy Loves You"coloured with Copic markers...not that there's that much colouring to do on this image.I made a frame using my nesties and raised it using 3d foam pads.The sentiment is Serendpity.

Everything else...gingham vellum,ribbon buttons and embillies are from stash.

Thats all for now folks,i'm off to meet up with my friend today for a coffee and a chin wag...well she'll do alot of the talking,she talks for England...lol,but i love her she's my best friend and wouldn't change her for the world.

SKETCH SATURDAY #35.....

There's a great sketch this week at Sketch Saturday (#35),i loved working with this one and i'm sure it will be one i use again.

I wanted to go with a completely different colour scheme with this one,as much as i love all the shades of pinks and lilacs i felt like having a change so went for a lemon theme not a colour i use often.

The stamp is from a Morehead set....how cute is she,coloured with Copic markers,cut out and raised from the nesties with silicone glue,i wanted to give a bit of dimension to the card.

The papers are all from a Provo Craft 8x8 slab.

The sentiment is by Personal Impressions.

I used my Fiskars "threading water" punch to do the scallops,the ribbon and paper roses from stash.

SKETCH & STASH...CHALLENGE #2

Another great sketch to work with this week over at Sketch And Stash (Challenge #2).

This week i 've used a new download from Pink Petticoat "Old Fashioned Girl".....always love the quality of print out you get from PP.

All papers and large sentiment are from this download,ribbon,brads and vellum for the tag sentiment are from stash.

Nesties used to cut sentiment and Martha Stewart punch for bottom and tag border.

The back of the sentiment tag i've matted the same but is just blank so that a "secret"message can be wrote on.

I decided to decorate the back of my card today with the left overs,i've also decided to go the whole hog and decorate the inside to match as well.

Oh i forgot to say i rotated the sketch.

STAMP WITH STAMPAVIE.....CHALLENGE 27

Well how late am i posting this card today....this is the first chance i've really had to do it.

Challenge 27 at Stamp With Stampavie this week is a lovely sketch by our guest designer Jessi,i must say this was a pleasure to work with,thank you Jessi i will be using this layout again.

For my DT card this week i've opted for a lovely Lelo stamp"Party Dragon",i think this little dragon is such a cute little fella....coloured with Copic markers,i think i maybe getting the hang of these now,i wasn't going to let some posh felt pens beat me...lol

The papers are Basic Grey "Eva",i'm loving these too at the moment.

The sentiment stamp is Elzybells.

The flowers,ribbon,gems and mini buttons all from stash.

The flourish and corner are dies cut on the Wizard.

Thats about it for now....just to say thank you to everyone who joined us on the challenge last week and hope to see you again this week.

THE SUGAR BOWL,CHALLENGE 2........THREE !

For challenge 2 over at The Sugar Bowl the theme is "THREE",you can have no more or no less than three of the things that make up your card,three papers, three embelishments...etc,if you use three images on your card you will be entered into the draw twice,and you could be one of the three lucky winners to receive some fabby goodies including three of the yet to be released Mary Hall stamps...sugar,sugar....would i like to get my hands on this sweet candy...lol.

For my card i've gone for three images by Leanne Ellis "CHOOSE","TRUE LOVE" and "WISH",purchased from Funkykits,coloured with Copic Markers....i think i've improved alittle with these.

The three papers,one patterned and two plain are all Basic Grey "Granola".

My three embelishments are ribbon,heart charm and button (well two buttons put together to make one embelishment),all these from stash.

Martha Stewart punch to decorate bottom of paper.

3 IN 1....BASIC GREY,MOJO MONDAY & SECRET CRAFTER.

3 in 1,three challenges covered in 1 card,i hate to do this,but needs must as they say....

The first challenge is Basic Grey(18),this week a digi image as been supplied by one of the DT Kim,well there's a choice of image you can use on your card....or even use all of them.i 've opted for the cute love struck girl....when you're young and in love...lol.

The second challenge is Mojo Monday,which is a sketch,i needed a layout for my card and this suited the bill to a tee,i must say this was a great sketch to work with.And a different shape of card from my usual square,a change is as good as a rest.

Last put no means least is Secret Crafter....this week the challenge is to have hearts on your card,well i think i've covered this...there's hearts on the paper,heart brads,heart on the image and cut out hearts at the bottom,there's just about hearts everywhere.

The image free digi print from Basic Grey challenge site...coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's,cut out using Nesties and 3d'd using dimensional pads.

Papers are Basic Grey "Sugared".

I'M SOOOO HAPPY...I'VE WON BEV'S CANDY...

Well i'm beside myself...WOO HOO,i've only gone and won Bev's gorgeous Blog candy,to say i'm over the moon is an understatement...Thank you Bev for giving me the chance to win these gorgeous goodies...i feel like i've won the lottery.

Well i hate making men's cards,but needs must as they say...lol,you just can't pretty a man's card up now can you...well i suppose you can if they're batting for the other side..lol,but the fella who this card is for is well and truely all man....

It's for one of my hubby's friends...and as you've gathered a big football fan,i'm pleased to say my hubby's not interested in the game,now thats one thing in his favour...lol.

The team he supports is West Bromwich Albion hence the "Boing! Boing! Baggies".

The stamp i've used is by Hunkydory from a set called "Golden Oldies 1",coloured with my Promarkers and prisma's....had to have a rest from the Copic's,they're doing my head in...lol.

The papers are all Basic Grey "Archaic".

The sentiment stamp is Autumn Leaves "Ticketed".

SPRING BLOSSOMS......TAG CARD.

Another week as gone by and it's time for another challenge at Stamp With Stampavie.This week it's a sketch to follow by our guest designer Nicole (Kymba-Slydog).

I've used another of my new Sarah Kay stamps this week "Spring Blossoms"coloured with my not so faithfull Copic markers...lol,i seemed better with these the first time i used them,my hubby say's i'm trying too hard with them now.

I cut the image out and matted it onto heavy weight card,the same that i used for my base card to form the tag,the edges i fancied up with my "Threading Water" punch by Fiskars.On the back of the tag i've matted a sentiment from a Personal Impressions clear stamp set.

All the papers used are K & Co "Roam",the small flowers have all been cut from the same papers and finished off with flat backed pearls from stash.

The sentiment on the card is by Inkadinkado.

Large metal brad from my stash as is the ribbom.

The heart corners have been die cut using the Wizard.

I haven't been able to join in with many challenges for awhile,not because i don't want to...lol,but somehow life and it's problems have had to come first over my crafting,yes somethings are more important,but do wish things would settle alittle,oh well enough of me feeling sorry for myself,hope you all have a lovely day whatever you're doing,

We've had a two week break over at Stamp With Stampavie,to start the new year off this week Moni's come up with this great sketch,so come on why not join us,all you need is some Sarah Kay,Rachelle Anne Miller or Lelo stamps and of cause some of you craft stash,and if it's like mine it's an ever growing stash mountain.

I've opted for a SK stamp this week "A Kiss For Chloe",which i've coloured with my new copic markers,not very successfully this time,i seemed to work better with them the first time i used them.

The papers are Basic Grey Sultry and Two Scoops.

The script stamp which i've used to stamp over the punch hearts was from a set from QVC not sure of the make.

The sentiment stamp is Ticketed by Auntumn Leaves.

Well thats about it....i'm spending a few hours with a friend today,we're off for a lovely pub lunch and a good old chin wag,whatever you're up to today have a good one....

THE SUGAR BOWL,Challenge 1.......FIRST PLAY WITH COPICS.

Well a new year and a new Challenge.....The Sugar Bowl is a new Challenge Blog especially created to use our much loved Sugar Nellie stamps.Challenge 1 is a sketch by Tiets,and i must say i loved working with it,so thank you Tiets.

It's been awhile coming this card,i somehow couldn't get back into the swing of things,so today i gave myself a great big boot up the backside....something i should have done earlier...lol.

I've had my first play with my Copic's,one of my crafty goodies i had for Christmas off my hubby.I love them,not very good at the moment....need some practice,but hey Rome wasn't built in a day,and it will be fun learning.If anyone as any tips i'm all ears.
