STAMP WITH FUN AND CUTE DAISY MAY....

Well yet another weeks rolled round and time for me to share two DT cards with you....firstly for Stamp With Fun where this week there's a sketch to follow by Maria Bell, and i must say a lovely sketch too, thank you Maria.I've used Sarah Kay "Can I Tell You A Secret?" coloured with Copics and Prisma's,cut out and 3d'd using silicone gel onto oval nesties which is also raised using dimensional tape. The papers are all K&Co "Hopscotch" and have all been distressed around the edges with "Peeled Paint" distressing ink.The flowers are Prima and Papermania. The sentiment which as been cut out using Spellbinders Double Ended Tags is by MFT.The corner was done using a Ek Success corner punch, ribbon, buttons and adhesive pearls all from stash.

You can see in the close up that i've changed his flowers,i messed up when cutting the image out so i punched some really tiny flowers from a Dovecraft border punch,i like the effect, something i wouldn't have done if i'd have cut the flowers out perfectly,i suppose a happy accident!

I've coloured mine using Copics and Prisma's and then glamour dusted the skirt part of her dress. The paper is Papermania "Simply Elegant",the flowers are a mixture of punched out ones using a Woodware flower punch and flowers from Poppicrafts.Sentiment is CC Designs cut out using the ribbon tags die, brad, pearls and dew drops all from stash.

Well it's been 5 weeks since my last post, this is the first card/crafting i've done since then,i've really missed joining in with the challenges, thank you all on the Stamp With Stampavie DT for your patience and allowing me much needed time with my mom,and allowing me now to resume my DT post.
I would like to thank all of you who sent me well wishes for my mom,and the hugs you sent me they were all sooooo appreciated.I'm so pleased to tell you my mom came home yesterday, she's not 100%,i doubt if she ever will be,but she's home and i'm thankful for that.

SPRING BLOSSOMS......TAG CARD.

Another week as gone by and it's time for another challenge at Stamp With Stampavie. This week it's a sketch to follow by our guest designer Nicole (Kymba-Slydog).
Hope to see you joining us this week, and a big thank you to those who played along last week.
I've used another of my new Sarah Kay stamps this week "Spring Blossoms"coloured with my not so faithfull Copic markers...lol,i seemed better with these the first time i used them,my hubby say's i'm trying too hard with them now.
I cut the image out and matted it onto heavy weight card, the same that i used for my base card to form the tag,the edges i fancied up with my "Threading Water" punch by Fiskars. On the back of the tag i've matted a sentiment from a Personal Impressions clear stamp set.
All the papers used are K & Co "Roam",the small flowers have all been cut from the same papers and finished off with flat backed pearls from stash.
The sentiment on the card is by Inkadinkado.
Large metal brad from my stash as is the ribbom.
The heart corners have been die cut using the Wizard.
I haven't been able to join in with many challenges for awhile, not because i don't want to...lol,but somehow life and it's problems have had to come first over my crafting, yes somethings are more important, but do wish things would settle alittle,oh well enough of me feeling sorry for myself, hope you all have a lovely day whatever you're doing,
Take care

STAMP WITH STAMPAVIE....VINTAGE

Another week at Stamp With Stampavie and this week the theme is "Vintage",hope you will all come and join in,but we do understand how pushed everyone is for time, thanks to everyone who played along with us last week.
For my card i've used Sarah Kay "Christmas Magic",i thought this was the right stamp for the vintage theme,no colouring,i just wanted to leave it as the stamped outline.I've created a photo frame around the image and put some acetate into it,this isn't showing to good in the photo.
All the papers, sentiment and holly embellishments are Anna Griffin.
Tassel from Joanna Sheen.
I'm not really happy with this card,i've not been interested in my craft this last week or two,i've had alot on my mind and somehow haven't been able to summon up any enthusiasm, normally i craft to take my mind off things, but haven't been able to some how.
Sorry for not visiting your Blogs lately, but will try to over the next few days.
Take care and have a lovely day,

STAMP WITH STAMPAVIE.....A STAR

This week at Stamp With Stampavie our theme is "A Star",now it's up to what you make....a card,or Christmas decoration etc ,so long as you use a star shape.Check out the DT examples if you need alittle inspiration.
I went the easy route and made a decoration, times precious at the moment, what with Christmas and other things life's throwing at me at the minute.....oh well i keep telling myself it's the same for everyone.
The main star shape of the decoration was printed from a Joanna Sheen CD "Enchanted Christmas",the stamp i used is a SK "Christmas Magic",coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's and a touch of glitter, cut out using my nesties on the Wizard.
It's double sided with a sentiment on the reverse, the stamp is a WOJ,from the sentiment set "Christmas Wishes".
Before adhering the two sides together i sandwiched a tassel with loop in between,i used silicone glue so that the decoration is not completly flat.
I would like to than everyone who joinned in with us last week, and i hope to see you all again this week.
Sorry i haven't been visiting your Blogs for a few days, life as i said as been alittle hectic, but i'll
try my best to visit tonight,so get the kettle on.....lol
Take care, and hope you all have a lovely day...

STAMP WITH STAMPAVIE 17.....AT LONG LAST A CARD

Well it seems like forever since i last put a card on my blog...this is my DT card this week for Stamp With Stampavie, hope you will all be joining in with us,don't forget you're not limited to Sarah Kay stamps only anymore you can now use Rachel Ann Miller too...
The sketch this week is by Jacqueline one of our DT,and i must say a lovely sketch to work with...i've actually rotated the sketch because i wanted to use another of my new SK Christmas stamps"Angels Rejoice.
I stamped the image onto acetate with a black stazon ink pad,and then on the reverse side coloured parts with Promarkers and glittered the rest using Art Institute dries clear adhesive and ultra fine glitter,it's the first time i've attempted this and it may be the last....lol.
I used the front of an aperture card over the acetate, mounted this on dimensional tape onto the other piece of the card so as to have a plain background and raised from the patterned base card.
The paper is from DCWV Christmas stack.
The flowers and leaves are Papermania, the leaves i coloured with a green permanent marker. The gem brad in the center is also Papermania.
I used 4 lengths of the narrow velvet ribbon to form a broader band, this was from my local market.
Pearls, gem and beads for the hatpin all from stash, letters also coloured with permanent marker and mounted onto card cut using nesties.
The photo's aren't too good,i had a right game trying to get anything like a decent photo because of the acetate, any amount of light kept reflecting off it.

Thanks to everyone who joined us on the challenge again last week, some great cards were created, hope to see you all again this week at "STAMP WITH SARAH KAY"I don't know why but i really struggled with this card, and to be honest i'm not happy with it now,i was going to bin this and start again from scratch, but didn't really have the time,so just had to go with this one.
The SK stamp i've used is a kiss for Chloe, coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's,matted and layered using nestabilities, then 3d'd on dimensional tape.I came up with the idea of giving him a ballon to give Chloe as well as a kiss...lol.
The paper is DCWV.

The hearts i've stamped on with Versafine Vintage Sepia from a wedding set,not sure of the make.
Brads and ribbon from stash, and sentiment is done with Doodlebud rub-ons.
