WISH UPON A STAR.......

"Bear necessities" ,clean and simple style cards is the name of the game this week over at JUST CUTE BEARS...

Clean and simple...not a style i use very often,but i will be from now on.....so quick and i love the finished result!

The star shape card was made using a template,the card folds flat and fits into a 6" square envelope.

I stamped the Cuddly Buddly (Little High Flyer) image directly onto the card and then again another twice so that i could 3d him,he was coloured in using Promarkers and Prisma's....not that there's much colouring on this one,i added some glamour dust to the stars which looks lovely IRL.

The sentiment is from a SeeD's set "Magical Christmas".
I finished off by edging the base card with diamond stickles...i wasn't pleased with the colour when it had dried so i went over it with some lemon chalk...much better :0).

DARE U-2-DIGI STAMP...."PINK and GREEN".

Well yet another week as rolled round,it's Friday which means it's time for another challenge at Dare U-2-Digi Stamp,this week we have a colour combo challenge of "Pink and Green",the DT have come up with some amazing creations again.

This week i wanted to try to do something alittle different with my digi image,this what i come up with....i'm not too happy with it and it didn't turn out quite like what i had in mind...but hey some you win,and some you don't :0).

I used Chris's (sketching Stamper) "Heart Of Hearts" image which is shown in the photo above resized to two different sizes and printed out 5 of each onto a sheet of Provocraft 12x12 paper which i cut to A4 to make printer friendly.These i then cut out,added alittle glamour dust to the swirls with a glue pen and slightly curled the edges and layered to form the petals of the flower using silicon glue,a large button and fancy thread for the centre and ribbon for the stem.

The extra little flowers were punched out of the same paper using a woodware and Xcut punch.

The sentiment is from a See D's set "Garden Of Friendship" and all other papers are BG "Sultry".

MAGNOLIA Vs STAMPAVIE.....CHALLENGE 1,SKETCH IT !

Week 1 over at Magnolia Vs Stampavie this week is a sketch by one of the DT JayJay,i must say i really enjoyed using this sketch,so thank you JayJay....
I've gone for Magnolia this week.....Tilda carrying presents,which i've coloured using Promarkers and Prisma's,with alittle glamour dust to her wings....every girl deserves alittle bling...lol.I've then cut her out and 3d'd her using silicon glue.
The papers and textured card are all DCWV .
Extra stamped presents are from a SeeD's set "Fun Christmas" and also coloured with the same Promarkers and Prisma's,again cut out and raised using silicon glue.
Ribbon from Poppicrafts.
Sentiment Doodlebug rub-ons "All Mixed Up",i so love these,they're really useful.
Well thats about it,hope you've all had a good day.....i'm going to make a cuppa,do alittle Blog hopping and maybe watch some TV....depends what rubbish my hubby's got on....lol,he likes me to craft he can watch what he wants then.

STAMP WITH STAMPAVIE 15...THE JOY OF GIVING.

Hello everyone....when you are reading this i will be in Turkey,hopefully in the some sunshine.
Stamp with Stampavie challenge 15 sketch is by Flati and another great sketch to work with,i've used one of my new Sarah Kay Christmas stamps "The Joy Of Giving",i love this image....coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's,cut out using nesties.
The papers are a new download from Pink Petticoat "Tis The Season".
The textured card is DCWV.
The sentiment is from Elzybells.
The extra present stamps are from a SeeD's set "Fun Christmas.
Scroll is cut using a Sizzix die,and ribbon from stash.
All components of the card are 3d,d at different heights using dimensional tape,foam pads and silcon glue to give the card alittle interest,this is not showing up in the photo.

PAPERTAKE WEEKLY AND A SPOON FULL OF SUGAR....MEETS FOREVER FRIENDS

I try not to combine challenges if i can help it,but i have today,Papertake Weekly Challenge this week is a sketch by the talented Katherina,and i must say a dream of a sketch to work with,this is one i shall be using again... A Spoon Full Of Sugar Challenge 17 "Christmas Is Coming".

The stamp is Forever Friends from the Christmas set,coloured using Promarkers and Prisma's,matted and layered using Nesties.

The papers are by Funky Hand,"Yule Be Funky" CD.

The sentiment stamp is SeeD's "Chistmas Messages".

The ribbon is from Poppicrafts,brads and gems from stash,holly punched out with Xcut punch.

I don't know why it is in the photo the colour of the hat and scarf look a completely different shade of pink to the backing papers,but IRL match perfectly.

A SPOON FULL OF SUGAR...CHALLENGE 15,ANYTHING BUT A CARD

Spoon full of sugar this week,challenge 15 "Anything But A Card",a couple of weeks back for another challenge i made a wine bottle gift tag and was really pleased with the result....so today i made another one but this time with a Christmas bottle tag in mind.
The stamp Christmas Maggie,Sugar Nellie,i've paper pieced her dress with some lace effect paper,unsure where from,i've used an oddment from my ever growing bit box,i've coloured in the stars on her dress and her wings with a Sakura starduct pen,on the wings i've dotted it on to give a netting appearance.
I've matted and layered using nestabilities,decorated with snowflakes cut from the same card on my wizard.Gems and ribbon from stash.
The sentiment is from See D's "Magical Christmas",held in place by a star shaped brad,allowing movement to be able to write a message on the back.

PENNY BLACK CHALLENGE 12...STARS AND STRIPES

Penny Black Challenge 12 this week is "STARS AND STRIPES".
I've used a stamp from the T for Transparent set "Christmas Critters",coloured in with prisma's,sansador and paper stumps,and a touch of glamour dust round the cuff of the mitt,i've then cut this into a star shape,matted and layered using nestabilities and then 3d'd onto the card.
The papers are both HOTP Christmas pad,over from last year.
Sentiment is from See D's "Magical Christmas"set,attached with star shaped brads from stash.
I've finished off with a small hatpin embellishment which i made,and some satin ribbon from my stash...this makes 3 Christmas cards only another 103 to go...lol

CHALLENGE 9,SKETCH 2.....

Penny Black Saturday Challenge this week is a sketch(No2)....I have rotated the sketch,which you are allowed to do...
The stamp i've had for quite sometime,probably over a year,you know how it is we buy so much it's knowing what to use first...lol,anyway i thought it was about time it saw the light of day.
The stamp "Fish are jumpin",coloured in with prisma's and sansador.
The card stock i've used is something else i've had for ages,not sure where from.
The 3 fish at the top are stamped using See D's "Boy's Toy's",i stamped them on the base card,coloured them with prisma's and sansador,then punched 3 holes in the next layer of card,which i then mounted using 3d foam to form a port hole effect,i am happy with how this turned out....
To finish off i've used some bubble stick on corners by m.i.y,and Doodlebug rub-ons for the sentiment...
