JUST FOR YOU....

Morning all....weekend again,can someone tell me who's pinching the weeks!.....but it does mean that we have a new sketch for you over at SKETCH SATURDAY...and a fabby one it is too...thanks Jo.
I used one of the recently released MELJEN DESIGNS digi images..."Cherry Hedgehog",this along with so many more digi images can be purchased at WHIMSY STAMPS.
I've used Promarkers and Prisma's as my colouring mediums...it's getting a bit boring,must have a change soon!I've added extra spikes to him using a Memento dual marker in Tuxedo Black,which i purchased from PINK GEM DESIGNS.
The papers are a download from CUDDLY BUDDLY from the "Cottage Garden" set and the sentiment is also CUDDLY BUDDLY from the "Round Greetings Set 2".
The cherries have been cut using a die from the Marianne Designs "Cupcake" die set and i've added some CRAFTERS COMPANION "Spray & Shine"

LET IT SNOW!

Hi everyone....we have a new challenge for you today over at STAMPAVIE and MORE...the theme this week is "Christmas"...hope you will come and join in and a big thank you to all who took up the challenge last week :0).
For my card this week i've used a freebie image and paper from CUDDLY BUDDLY....such a cute snowman,i've coloured him using Promarkers and Prisma's and added the all important glamour dust...you can't have Christmas without some sparkle...lol.
The sentiment is from a Daisy and Dandelion clear stamp set.
The button brads are HOTP and all other embellishments from bit box.

A CUDDLY BUDDLY "MERRY CHRISTMAS".....

Today i'd like to share a card with you i've made to cover a couple of challenges....a much neglected stamp from Cuddly Buddly "Penguin Post"...how cute is he!which i've coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's...then added some glamour dust to his hat and some Stardust stickles to the snow round his feet.
The sentiment stamp is also Cuddly Buddly from the "Oval Greetings-Christmas" set.
The papers are Dovecraft "Winter Wonderland".

SKETCH SATURDAY....AUGUSTUS THE DRAGON...

It's that time of the week again.....Saturday which means it's time for another challenge over at SKETCH SATURDAY...another fabby sketch by Jo this week,hope you will come and play along with us...a big thank you to all who took up the challenge last week we had some fantastic creations :0)...we look forward to seeing what you all do with the sketch this week!

Our sponsor this week is DIGITAL DELIGHTS....and we were lucky enough to be given some fabby images to play with...as you can see i decided to use Augustus the dragon...isn't he a cutie!.I've coloured him using Copic markers and shaded alittle with a black Prisma pencil.I've added glossy accents to his spots and end of his tail but that's not showing up in the photo.

The paper is Basic Grey "Archaic" which i've coloured in places with the green and orange Copic's i've used on the image to bring everything together alittle better.

The sentiment is Cuddly Buddly...Puppy's Greetings.

The footprints are from the "Dino" stamp set by Basic Grey.

The brads are also Basic Grey...the three on the bottom are made using the Papermania Brad making set and two metal buttons.

BUTTONS AND BLOOMS.....

Well this week over at JUST CUTE BEARS our challenge this week is "BUTTONS and BLOOMS"....that's no mean task then is it :0),we all love our flowers and buttons and the only other requirement is a cute bear image :0) and i sholud think most of you have one of those...so what you waiting for come and join in!
We had some gorgeous cards last week,so a big thank you to all who took up the challenge with us.

For my card this week i decided to use a Cuddly Buddly stamp "Teddy & Rose" coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's and alittle glamour dust added to the rose.

The papers are all Pink Petticoat "Vintage Rose".

I've used this weeks sketch over at SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY for my layout...thank you girls another fabby sketch to work with :0).

WISH UPON A STAR.......

"Bear necessities" ,clean and simple style cards is the name of the game this week over at JUST CUTE BEARS...

And this week we are being sponsored by Paula from Pollycraft....there's two prizes up for the taking for two lucky winners...can i enter...LOL,check out the challenge for more details of whats up for grabs...well worth joining in on the fun this week!

Clean and simple...not a style i use very often,but i will be from now on.....so quick and i love the finished result!

The star shape card was made using a template,the card folds flat and fits into a 6" square envelope.

I stamped the Cuddly Buddly (Little High Flyer) image directly onto the card and then again another twice so that i could 3d him,he was coloured in using Promarkers and Prisma's....not that there's much colouring on this one,i added some glamour dust to the stars which looks lovely IRL.

The sentiment is from a SeeD's set "Magical Christmas".
I finished off by edging the base card with diamond stickles...i wasn't pleased with the colour when it had dried so i went over it with some lemon chalk...much better :0).

Well all that's left to say is...a big thank you to all who joined us last week..."Gorgeous" creations once again and you'll all take up the challenge this week...don't forget there's that fabby prize up for grabs...well two of them,double the chance of winning this week :0).

DT FOR JUST CUTE BEARS....HERE COMES SUMMER!

Well yet another week as gone by and it's time for another challenge at Just Cute Bears...this week we have the theme of "HERE COMES SUMMER"......
I wanted to do something alittle fun this week....Sun,Sea and Sand comes to mind for summer,well it might be in our minds,but it's not always what we get...LOL.
I decided i'd make a desk top calendar for July,seeing that we are almost half way througth June...i'm always after the date,so this will be ideal to sit on my work desk...i will leave it on the easel (thanks Ali),it sets it off perfect!

No colouring on this one,i've used two digital downloads from Cuddly Buddly "Sunny Day Bears" and "Sunny Day Papers".I printed the bear image a couple of times so that i could do some decoupage.
The base is made from a Papermania square scalloped card which i've stuck together to make it more sturdy,the textured cardstock is DCWV.Each layer including image and calendar have been edged with Antique Linen distress ink.
I've added two crabs which i cut from the Sunny Day paper and a starfish from stash,ribbon bow and gems on her hat also from stash.
Well thats about it for now...my son wants feeding...he's only 26...LOL.
All thats left to say is a big thank you to all that joined us on the challenge last week and hope to see you all again this week...

POLLYCRAFT and A SPOON FULL OF SUGAR

Hi....Another card again today to cover 2 challenges....Pollycraft where this week the brief is "SUMMER BLOOMS" and A Spoon Full Of Sugar "CUTE and GIRLY"...it's the first time i've entered Pollycraft,i thought i'd give it a whirl,i was having a sort out the other day and came across a few Pollycraft stamps which i'd never inked up and this is one of them!

Recipe for card:-

Stamp...Pollycraft one of the Sharing Sherbet range,not sure of the name,i think maybe it's retired now.Coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's.....jazzed up here and there with some glamour dust.

DOUBLE DT...STAMP WITH FUN & CUTE DAISY MAY....

Morning all....i've two DT cards to share with you today,firstly the one i've made for the challenge Stamp With Fun where this week the theme is "BIRTHDAY".I've used an image by Victoria Case,what a cute little monster!,i've coloured her using Copic's and Prisma's.The paper is from Cute Companions "Volume One" CD.The sentiment is computer generated.

My second card is for Cute Daisy May....this week we have the theme "FLORAL FANTASY",as soon as i saw the challenge i knew what image i would be using...it's taken from Linnie's "SHEET No 42" and coloured with Copic's and Prisma's...i've used "Summer" flowersoft...this image was just crying out for it!This image along with so many more must haves can be found HERE,well worth a look!

The paper is BG "Ambrosia" and the sentiment is Cuddly Buddly round greetings "General 1".

DU2DS DT CARD....."MAKE A SCENE".

Hi....today i'd like to share with you my DT card for DU2DS....this week the dare is "MAKE A SCENE".I've created mine using all digital images,the background is from the"Girl About Town"download set from Charmed Cards And Crafts,i've used Chris's (Sketching Stamper)"Vicki Shops" and the topiary and sentiment are from a Cuddly Buddly download "Doodletown".....all images have been coloured using Promarkers and Prisma's.Vicki and the topiary have been cut out and raised using silicone gel to give some dimension to the scene.Brads are Cosmo Cricket,gem's and ribbon from stash.Alittle glamour dust as been used on Vicki's butterfly broach and hair bands.

ABC CHALLENGE.....Z IS FOR Zzzzzzzz SLEEPING.

I've wanted to use this stamp for ages,when i saw the ABC Challenge this week was Z is for Zzzzzz sleeping i was over the moon,i love this image...how cute is she.

The stamp is by Alota and i've coloured it using both Promarkers and Prisma's,and i've also done alittle paper piecing too.

The paper is a free download from Cuddly Buddly which i've had forever...

The card is Core'dinations and the ribbon from stash.

I haven't used any embelishments or sentiment i rather like it the way it is....plain and simple.

Don't know why the paper looks more blue in the photo but it is actually more of a lilac colour.

SPOOFULL OF SUGAR,CHALLENGE 19......AND CUTE CARD THURSDAY"CHRISTMAS ANIMALS"

I've combine two challenges again today,Spoonfull Of Sugar Challenge 19 a sketch by Camilla and Cute Card Thursday which this week is "Christmas Animals",sorry folks but i've gone for the red and white theme again with this...
The stamp is "Sleeping Mouse" Elzybells and so is the sentiment,ive coloured the image with Promarkers and Prismas and added diamond stickles on the pom pom and trim,matted,layered and 3d'd.
The paper is printed off a Funkyhand CD "Yule Be Funky".
The snowflake stamp is from a SeeD's Christmas set,and the centre of each one i've added a gem from my stash.
I've used Fiskars Threading Water punch and organza ribbon from my stash.
Chipboard shapes are Papermania and the metal charm is from Cuddly Buddly.

PAPERTAKE WEEKLY.....WHIFF OF JOY CHALLENGE #2 "STITCHING"

I've combined two challenge's tonight.Papertake Weekly Challenge this week is a sketch (#12) by Katherina,so it seemed right to combine this with Whiff Of Joy Challenge #2 "Stitching",seeing as it's Katherina's stamps.
I've used Whiff Of Joy "Willow With Hot Chocolate",coloured her with Promarkers and Prisma's,and added a touch of glitter on the trousers where the flowers are.I've cut her out and 3d'd her on dimensional pads,onto circles cut using nestabilities.
The paper is a Summer Driggs free download,the" stitching" on the paper gives it a patchwork quilt effect.Willow matches the colour of the paper really well IRL but somehow is coming up lighter in photo.

CCT,CHALLENGE 27.....CATS AND DOGS.

Challenge 27 at Cute Card Thursday this week is "CATS AND DOGS",I got my inspiration for this card from one of the DT cards made by Annie (ink'n'rubba),she had used a Cuddly Buddly stamp,i haven't used the same one,but i'd forgotten i'd purchased some awhile back,it's my age or i've got too many stamps...lol,so thank you Annie for the reminder.

A SPOON FULL OF SUGAR,CHALLENGE 14....3 DIFFERENT RIBBONS

3 Different ribbons is challenge 14 at A Spoon Full Of Sugar this week.Everyone seems to be making Christmas cards,you are all making me panic...lol,so for this challenge that was what i decided on,this will make 2 under my belt.

The stamp is one of the new Christmas Stamps from Cuddly Buddly,coloured with prisma's,sansador,paper stumps and H20's.The sentiment stamp also Cuddly Buddly.

The papers are printed from a Funky Hand CD "Yule Be Funky".

Finished with 3 different ribbons across the middle,puffy snowflakes,which i've coloured to blend with the colour scheme and star gems from my stash.

ANIMAL MAGIC...

Challenge 10 at A Spoon Full Of Sugar this week is "ANIMAL MAGIC".I was so pleased when i saw what the challenge was this week,i'd ordered the little cotton rabbits set from Funkykits and just got my hands on them Monday,so i could have a play....love them they are so cute!

THREE FOR A FRIEND.....

Well i was asked to make three cards the weekend by a friend of my husbands,i have made cards for him before,well actually it's his wife who wants the cards.....sometimes i wish they wouldn't ask,it turns what should be a nice relaxing hobby into a stressfull nightmare.But i made them and survived,LOL...
