WEDDING DAY WISHES......

Hi....today i'd like to share a card with you i've made to cover two challenges....POLLYCRAFT CHALLENGE this week where the theme is "LOVE & MARRIAGE"and i've sort of followed the sketch over at WALTZING MOUSE.

The sentiment and focal point of the card is from one of the mini doodle sets "Mr & Mrs" not long released at Pollycraft,i've also shrunk down the wedding cake from the same set and inserted between the wording.
Not much to the card really.....alot of die cutting which i love playing around with!
The gorgeous embossed paper i'm sure came in one of those bumper kits from Crafters Companion many moons ago!
Flowers,pearls and ribbon from stash.
Well thats about it for now folks...hope you all have a lovely day....the weathers really dull here today...that hanging over weather,i hate it!
Take care

JUST CUTE BEARS......."DECOUPAGE"

Sunday again which means it's time for another challenge at JUST CUTE BEARS....this week we would like to see decoupage on your card/project....all we ask is that there's a cute bear image on your creation.
For mine i've used a printed out decoupage sheet from Crafters Companion Popcorn the bear "Kids collection CD"...the sentiment is also printed off the CD.The actual image was the largest on the CD...too be honest when i'd printed it off it was alot larger than i was expecting....so made a 7"x 7" card...a size i wouldn't normally do.
I've added alittle glamour dust to the heart on the pram...some pearls to the scallop trim which i'd punched with a Fiskars "Threading Water" punch,to the wheels and the corners and lastly some ribbon to the handle.....i would like your opinions on the ribbon please...if you leave me a comment could you let me know whether you think i should leave the ribbon long or if i should cut it off...i'm alittle undecided on this one.
Sorry the photo is pants...for love or money i just couldn't get this one right :0(.
Well thats about it....all thats left to say is a big thank you to all who joined us on the challenge last week and hope to see you all again this week.
Have a lovely day whatever you're up to :0)
Take care

JUST CUTE BEARS and ONE STOP CARD CHALLENGE....

Hi....it's Sunday again which means it's time for another challenge over at JUST CUTE BEARS,this week our theme is "MONOCHROME"....my favourite colour combo black and white!
or you can use shades of one colour....
We have some sad news...Ali who runs the challenge as stepped down from her post and blogging for awhile (not too long i hope),but Cathy one of the DT as come to the rescue and taken up the role...so the challenge will still run...thanks Cathy!...you're a star.
I've gone for another fun card this week...seeing as how it's Fathers Day...unfortunately neither my dad or FIL are no longer with us...and this wouldn't have been a card suitable for either really...so this ones for all the dads out there....."ENJOY YOUR DAY"

The image is Crafters Companion Popcorn the bear from the "I Love You" stamp set,i stamped him using Versafine Onyx Black and then heat embossed him with a clear detail embossing powder.I then cut him out using a round nestie...he is actually stuck on the inside of the card as you can see in the above photo...with a apeture cut into the front of the card directly over him.The frame around the apeture was also cut with two of the Pinking circles dies by Spellbinders.

The gingham papers are from Joanna Sheen...i so love gingham! The sentiment was done using rub-ons and the heart is a silver peel-off i coloured with a black Copic marker.I've added a couple of small kisses under the dad...because to be honest i'd got a little mark that i needed to cover up..so this was the option i came up with.....couldn't think what else i could do.
The corners were punched using a Ek Success corner punch and a tiny circle punch for the little gingham circles.
I'm also entering this card in this weeks ONE STOP CRAFT CHALLENGE....where this week the theme is "ONE FOR THE BOYS"...
Well if you're still with me and not yawning your head off..all that's left to say is for those that joined us last week on Just Cute Bears...many thanks, you made some gorgeous creations and i hope you'll join us again this week...i look forward to visiting your blogs!
Take care all...and have a fabby Fathers Day Sunday!

BABY'S 1st CHRISTMAS....

The theme this week at Stamp With Stampavie is "Christmas",no sketch so i've used sketch#32 by Katharina, just right for the card i wanted to make...
The stamp is a Rachelle Anne Miller, from the Christmas collection "Teddybear",i feel in love with this stamp when i saw it and knew exactly what i wanted to do with it.I've stamped the image 3 times, coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's and a little glamour dust on the present.I've cut the teddy out and layered him up using silicone glue, firstly the whole of him and then just the paws and his bow,it's really effective but not showing on the photo.
The papers are printed from a Crafters Companion CD "A Touch Of Christmas".the glitter adhesive film is from Hobbycraft, which i always mount onto card first.
The sentiment computer generated and ribbon from stash.

Just want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who joined in with us last week, and hope to see you all again this week, just a reminder you can use both Sarah Kay and Rachelle Anne Miller stamps on your cards,so what you waiting for,get stamping....If you need alittle inspiration check out the gorgeous cards made by my fellow DT members.

CUTE CARD THURSDAY...IN THE WATER !

Over at Cute Card Thursday this week,Challenge 25 is "In The Water !"...for this one i've used one of my new stamps from Joanna Sheen "Messy Rabbit",coloured with prisma's,sansador and paper stumps,i've used 3d gloss on the water with a sprinkling of something similar to flowersoft to resemble a bit of a soapy lather.
The back ground scene i printed from Crafters Companion "Cute Companions",i cut the rabbit out once coloured and mounted him on 3d pads,so give alittle dimension to the card.
The sentiments,"splash out" is a stamp from the same "Messy Rabbit" set and it's your birthday was done using Doodlebug rub-ons.
A quick and simple card,i hadn't got much time to play....

Main cupcake stamp is Hero Arts, coloured using prisma's and sansador,i've used 3d gloss and glamour dust for the icing. The sentiment stamp was free with stamper magazine also coloured with prisma's and sansador. The papers i've printed off my Cute Companions CD,i think they match well.Finished off with black gem stones and ribbon from stash

"THE TWO OF US"....

"The two of us" is the theme for the challenge this week at CUTE CARD THURSDAY ,i decided to use my Sarah Kay stamp "A kiss for Chloe",coloured with prisma's and sansador, cut out and 3d'd,i stamped the image twice so that i could 3d the both hats also....
The back ground scene i printed from my Crafters Companion "Cute Companions" CD,when i look at this image it makes me think they should be in a field or park,so that was my aim....I've also mounted this on 3d foam pads to make it stand out from the spotted paper...

The spotted paper is DCWV,and for the i love you on the tree i used Doodlebug rub-ons...
