BUTTERFLIES ARE LIKE FLOWERS OF THE SKY....

Hi all....today's share is a card i've made to cover several challenges...how cute is this image....sweet :)...


RECIPE FOR CARD:-
Stamp LOTV "Bear and Butterflies".
Prisma Pencils to colour.
Sentiment Elzybells.
Papers all from First Edition "Daydream".
Xcut "Picket Fence" border die.
Martha Stewart butterfly punch.
Self adhesive pearls and buttons from stash.
Alittle glamour and liquid pearls to finish.

SENDING YOU SUNSHINE & SMILES....

It's a sad day for me today...this will be my last card as a DT member for both SKETCH SATURDAY and A GEM OF A CHALLENGE....well to be honest i've dropped all of my DT post's...not a decision made lightly...but it needed to be done....i'd like to take the opportunity to thank all my teamies for having me...it's been a pleasure working with you all,i'll miss you!
Well now on to today's card which covers both SKETCH SATURDAY...fab sketch from Jo again this week and A GEM OF A CHALLENGE...where we have a colour challenge of "AQUA,LEMON & PINK".
I've used one of the recently released digi images from PINK GEM DESIGNS ....."jodie"...coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's,a dream to colour.
Papers are also from PINK GEM DESIGNS...another new set..."Flowers and Butterflies"...the sentiment is a large circle stamp "Sunshine & Smiles",again PINK GEM DESIGNS.
The butterflies were made using to different Martha Stewart punches.

HAPPY EASTER....

Hi....it's my turn to host the challenge over at POLLYCRAFT this week,and i've set the theme of "EASTER".....so i would like to see anything to do with Easter,a card,Easter gift,bag...whatever it's up to you! For my card i've used a Sharing Sherbet image "Love Notes"...this image is just perfect for any occassion,you can add any sentiment you want to the letter she's holding (letters blank when you get the image)....the sentiment i've used is from a stamp set i picked up at the NEC ..."Sentiments and Greetings" by Tabbykat.....eleven stamps for £2,BARGAIN! I've coloured the image using Promarkers and Prisma's and added some glamour dust here and there. The papers are DCWV and the border as been cut using a Martha Stewart Doily punch. The flower i made using 3 different sized circles and a brad.... Today not only see's the start of a new challenge over at POLLYCRAFT but a new release also...meet CHESTER...isn't he just the cutest monkey!...go check him out HERE.

FOR YOU.....AND SOME NEWS!

Well today see's our last sketch of 2010 over at SKETCH SATURDAY....and must say a fabby sketch to end the year with Jo :0).
It's also Catherine's last week with us...she's decided to step down from her DT post,we are all sad to see this lovely lady go....all the best Catherine.
Our sponsor this week is Tickled Pink Stamps and the lucky winner will get to pick 3 stamps of their own choice....don't forget you've got to be in it to win it!
Now on to my little bit of exciting news :0)...well it is for me anyway!....i had an email from Janet (Pink Gem Designs) asking if i would like to be GDT for her for 3 months...well as you can see from my card what the answer was...and it didn't take me that long to make my mind up....lol
This gorgeous stamp i've used is "Ollie and Gingerbread man" (Pink Gem Designs),coloured using Copic markers and Prisma's...i've added alittle glamour dust but only on the stars around him.
All patterned and plain cardstock is from the Martha Stewart "Frosty Gingerbread"pad....just perfect with this image...well i think so :0).
The sentiment is Elzybells....no longer available :0(,i've added alittle glamour dust to this too.
Brads are Basic Grey.

BUNDLED LITTLE SNOWBOY.....

Well today see's another release day from Melissa (Meljen Designs)...another 5 gorgeous images which can be flipped,rotated and sized to suit your needs...these along with so many more lovely images can be purchased from WHIMSY STAMPS.
I went for "Bundled Little Snowboy" for my card,coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's and lots of glamour dust and stickles :0)....plenty of sparkle!
The cardstock is Martha Stewart from the "Frosty Gingerbread" pad.
The snowflakes have been cut using a Marianne Design snowflakes die set...and the snowflake button from stash as is the waxed thread.
The three pom poms which i wanted to look like snowballs are those you use to apply chalks.

CHRISTMAS WISHES....

Monday...what does that mean,well to me it's new challenge day over at POLLYCRAFT.....we have alittle sad news,Ria one of the long standing DT as decided to step down....hence why we've gone with the "BLUE" theme this week,i would like to wish you all the very best Ria,i'm sure our paths will cross again at some point :0).
For my card i've used one of the Lillybean Snowfairies "CLOVER SNOWCLOUDS"....coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's.I've added plenty of sparkle to the image by way of glamour dust :0)....and to the clouds i've added some flocking.
The snowflake glittered cardstock is DCWV......the glitter pattern not showing up in the photo :0(.
The frame around the image as been done with a Spellbinders "Scalloped Edge Frame" die....to which i've added some self adhesive pearls.
The snowflake border was done with a Martha Stewart punch and the sentiment is from the Waltzing Mouse stamp set "VERY VINTAGE CHRISTMAS".Silk ribbon from stash.

SWEET DREAMS.....

Time for another fabby sketch by Jo over at SKETCH SATURDAY....and this week we are sponsored by Ah! La Carte,the winner of this weeks challenge will receive two Wild Rose Studio stamps,well worth joining in :0)....
I inked up a stamp i've had for ages and not got round to using...how bad is that,such a cute stamp too...."Sweet Dreams" by Penny Johnson.
I've had a change of colouring medium on this one too,i've dug my Distress Inks out and Twinkling H2Os...
I've added alittle gold glamour dust to the stars,not showing too good in the photo.
The patterned cardstock is from a Martha Stewart "Golden Woodland" stack,i've used some mirri card on this one it works well with the gold foiling on the trees.
I've used a Fiskars "Threading Water" punch to form the scalloped border and then added self adhesive pearls.
The sentiment is a Personal Impressions.

ONE FOR THE BOYS......

Well Monday's here again and what a gorgeous start to the week weather wise :0),hope you all had a great weekend.
My card today is for two challenges DU2DS "ONE FOR THE BOYS" and i've followed the sketch from this week's FRIDAY SKETCHERS....i really enjoyed working with sketch,one i would use again.
The digital image is one of Victoria Case's "MARTINI",coloured using Promarkers and Prisma's,then i've cut her out...the glass i've stuck down flat but i have shaped and raised her using Pinflair glue gel...this is not showing in the photo but looks good IRL.
The sentiment is Amy R one from the Birthday sentiments set.
Basic Grey papers "Archaic"...each layer edged with "Black Soot" distress ink.
The punched out border was done using a Martha Stewart punch "Embossed Zigzag".
The tiny round brads are Basic Grey "Archaic"which match with the paper and the square ones which i have used in a diamond shape are Avec.
Spellbinders Nesties used are:- "Oval" and "Lables 10".
I've used a real cocktail stick for the olive...just made a small slit and pushed it througth.
