JUST BECAUSE.....

Hi everyone.....today i've a card to share with you that i made yesterday afternoon...a CAS card ...which i must say that i'm happy with...now that doesn't happen very often...there's normally something that i feels not right...

I'M HERE FOR YOU....

Well i'm a day late posting my DT card for the new challenge over at POLLYCRAFT....were this week the theme is SWIRLS & PEARLS.....i wasn't too good yesterday and spent most of the day in bed...feeling better today i'm pleased to say :0).
For my card i've used one of the Crystal Fairies...... "Fairy 3" coloured with Copic markers and Prisma's.
I've added glamour dust to her wings and glossy accents to the heart she's holding.....i've also added alittle glamour dust to the punched out leaves.
The papers are Basic Grey "Two Scoops" and this is my swirl part of the challenge,flowers and pearls from stash....the flowers have been sprayed with Cosmic shimmer mist "Angel Mist".
The metal butterfly is off a set of earrings i got from Boots out of the sale....three sets of earrings each with 3 different charms on for £1...purchased especially for craft use.
The sentiment is MFT.

I'm entering this card into the SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE.....another fabby sketch Arlana.

JUST BECAUSE.....

Well today see's another release for Meljen Designs over at WHIMSY STAMPS....5 new digi's which can be flipped,rotated or resized to suit your needs...that's the beauty of a digital stamp.
I've used the "Swirly Daisy Pot"...coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's.
The papers are Basic Grey "Sugared",the sentiment is MFT "Essential Sentiments" and the gorgeous curly gardenia is from Crafty Emma's Store.I've added alittle glamour dust around the edge of the image and a doily underneath it.

The layout for my card is this weeks sketch over at SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY....another fabby sketch thank you Arlana.
I'm also entering this into I LOVE PROMARKERS.....this week the theme is "Punches"...the four corner circles have been cut using a Fiskars circle punch.
And MELJEN DESIGNS CHALLENGE....Round or square cards....no rectangles.

HI THERE!......

Well today over at SKETCH SATURDAY we have a fabby sketch for you to work with.....Paula's designed the sketch this week(gives Jo a well deserved week off) and Paula from POLLYCRAFT is also our sponsor this week...there's a fantastic prize up for grabs for one lucky winner,check out challenge blog for full details....

So for my card this week i've used a gorgeous Pollycraft image from the Lilybean Fairies "Dancing With Dragonflies",i've used Copic markers and Prisma's for my colouring medium and finished off with alittle glamour dust on her wings,dragonfly and tiny flowers,well every fairy needs some sparkle...LOL.
I've actually made a shaker card...you will see from the photo below i've added some bugle beads...the white Petaloo flowers and punched leaves at the bottom hide the beads,so makes for a extra suprise..
The white card's been embossed using a Crafts Too 5x5 "Dots" embossing folder.
The papers are SU and the sentiment is MFT "Essential Sentiments".

KENNY K'S KRAFTY GIRLZ CHALLENGE and SKETCH SATURDAY

Hi....i'd like to share a card with you i've made to cover two challenges....firstly i've followed the sketch over at SKETCH SATURDAY,i've rotated it to suit the image...fabby sketch as always,thank you girls.....the second challenge which is a newbie is KENNY K'S KRAFTY GIRLZ CHALLENGE...this first week the theme is "PASTELS"...

The image i've used is July's freebie "Dixie Daisy" which you can snag from HERE....i've coloured her using Promarkers and Prisma's...glamed her top up with alittle glamour dust and added a tiny pearl for her earring.

The papers are Stampin Up "Tea Party" which i think i must have had for almost twelve months...i got them from Emma.....and i must say brilliant service.

The sentiment is from "Essential Sentiments" set by MFT....punched out with a file tab punch from Woodware.

The star brads,charm,bow and self adhesive pearls all from that ever growing stash mountain :0)...

STAMP WITH FUN,CUTE DAISY MAY and SKETCH AND STASH.

Well today i've got two DT cards to share with you,the first is for Stamp With Fun,this week the theme is Shabby/Vintage.I've used WOJ "Confirmand Melinda" coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's...will i ever use my Copics again...lol.

Papers are some i've had for awhile now but never wanted to cut into them...you know how it is!Crafty Secrets "Earthy".Sentiments are Auntumn Leaves "Ticketed".Mixture of Prima and other flowers from stash.as is the lace,charms,brad,photo anchor and hatpins.All layers distressed using a distressing tool and Versafine Vintage Sepia.

My second DT card is for the Cute Daisy May challenge...the theme this week being "Spring Colours And Flowers".I've used an image from "Sheet 5",this little cutie along with many others can be purchased HERE.

I've coloured mine with yes you've guessed right Promarkers and Prisma's.The papers are Pink Petticoat..from the Spring set.

The sentiment is MFT "Essential Sentiments".

The flowers have been punched using Ek Success "Retro Flower" small/medium punches.I've also used a Martha Stewart punch "Simple Scallop"for the trim.

I've followed the sketch this week for the "Sketch And Stash" challenge so will be entering this card in that,my new stash is the image and PP papers.

Well thats a bit of a long post...hope you're still with me,i would like to thank everyone who joined us on both challenges last week and hope to see you all on them both this week.
