WHIMSY MARCH 1st DIGI RELEASE BLOG HOP....

For my card i've gone with one of Crissy Armstrong's new digi releases "In The Dog House"...most of the image i've coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's....i've paper pieced the kennel with wood effect paper...not sure where i got this download from :0(.I printed the image off 3 times because i wanted to layer the dog up and give hime a 3D effect,so that he really is popping his head out of the kennel.
I put glossy accents on his nose,not showing too good in the photo.....for the sentiment "In the dog house" i used Doodlebug rub-ons "All Mixed Up" and the "Sorry" was hand written.
The background for the kennel i created with chalks.....and the flowers were cut using Woodware and Xcut punches.

WELCOME TO YOUR NEW HOME......

Hi....today i've a card to share with you that i've made to cover two of my DT challenges.....Wednesday see's the start of two new theme's both at THE PAPER SHELTER,where this week the theme is "SEEING RED" and at STAMPAVIE AND MORE,where the theme is "WELCOME"
The image i've used is from THE PAPER SHELTER,from the "Mushrooms" set...you get three different images in this set...but i somehow rather liked the shape of this one :0).
I've used Copic markers and Prisma's as my colouring medium and i've added some glossy accents to the spots.
For the house number i used Doodlebug rub-ons,and the sentiment was made on the computer using "Angelina" font.
The fence was cut using a Xcut die,key charm,ribbon and ladybird from stash.
The backing paper is off a Bearlymine CD "Designer Extreme Vol 2".

Well the weekends over again...the start of a new week and a new challenge over at POLLYCRAFT,our host this week is Maria and she's drawn up a fabby sketch for you to follow and she would also like you to include a "LOVE" theme in your project.
For my card i decided to do something alittle different....i've used Marianne Design dies...Forest Branch,which i added colour to using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and Tunis Bird Cage as my focal point.
The bird image which i've paper pieced is from the "Love Naturally" mini doodles set i cut off is tail and added a feather instead.
The paper is from a Bearlymine CD "Designer Extreme Vol 1".For the sentiment i used Doodlebug rub-ons "All Mixed Up" in white.

MAN FLU !!!!!!

We have a new challenge starting to day over at STAMPAVIE AND MORE.....this week we would like you to make a "CRISS-CROSS" card.
I've used one of my new images "Dr Pepe L'Souris" from THE PAPER SHELTER....coloured him using Promarkers and Prisma's,then i've cut him out and raised him using Pinflair glue gel,just to give alittle dimension to the card.
The gingham papers i've had for ages from Joanna Sheen...i must say i love using gingham :0).
For the sentiment i used Doodlebug rub-ons "All Mixed Up"in both small and medium sizes.
The file tab was punched out using a Anna Griffin punch...after i'd adhered the paper to card to give it more body.

Over at SKETCH SATURDAY we have a new sketch for you to have fun with...i loved working with this one Jo...thanks hun!
I just had to use one of Paula's (POLLYCRAFT) new Valentine images...Maurice"Hot Stuff" and i think those boxers may have worked...watch this space,he may have a other half soon :0)
I've coloured him using Promarkers and Prisma's.
The papers are Pink Petticoat "Just An Old Fashioned Girl".
For the word hot i've used white Doodlebug rub-ons "All Mixed Up"..the hearts i've rubbed them onto have been cut using the Spellbinders heart dies.
The tiny hearts are the waste out of a Fiskars border punch and the scalloped border down the side is also a Fiskars border punch "Threading Water".

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:-

HI.....

Hi.....today we have a new challenge for you over at STAMPAVIE and MORE,this week we have a lovely sketch for you created by Kiki one of my teamies,fabby sketch to work with,hope you'll all come and join in the fun :0)
For my card i've used one of the "Flower Girls"from a Pergamano clear stamp set...coloured with Copic markers and Prisma's.
All cardstock is DCWV.....the patterned is from "Nana's Kitchen",the flowery one in the background is also glittered but this is not showing in the photo.
The flowers i've made using various Xcut,Ek Success and L-Em punches.
For the sentiment i've used Doodlebug "All Mixed Up" rub-ons and self adhesive gems from stash.

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:-
FLUTTERBY WEDNESDAY...open week,must have a butterfly,fairy or angel...there's two tiny butterflies on the image.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS....

Saturday....well that means it's time for another fabby sketch from Jo over at SKETCH SATURDAY....i've rotated it to suit the image i wanted to use,i seam to be doing that a lot lately,hey i can,it's allowed....LOL.

I've gone for a gorgeous new image from POLLYCRAFT,from the Cherry Kisses range "Warm Christmas"...you've got to admit she's a cutie!and a dream to colour :0).
I've used Copic markers and Prisma's as my colouring medium and added alittle glamour dust to the pom pom's on her hat...well you've got to have some sparkle at Christmas :0).
The side panel's been embossed with a Cuttlebug folder "Snow Dots" which i've gone over with some chalk,not showing too good in photo.
The paper is Pink Petticoat "Gingham".Ribbon,brads and pearls from stash,the sentiment "Happy" as been done with white Doodle bug "All Mixed Up" rub-ons.

BOO!!!!!!

Once again Saturday's here...which means it's time for another sketch by Jo over at SKETCH SATURDAY,brill sketch again thanks Jo :0).
I've totally lost my mojo,must be still on holiday in Cyprus....LOL,i've never before made cards and thrown them in the bin...this week 3 have ehded up in there! and i'm not happy with this one either.
For my card i used a Whimsy digi "Witch's Broom"by Katie of Big Hug Creations,coloured with Copic Markers and Prisma's.I've added alittle glamour dust to her shoes...she seem's a glamourous witch to me...lol.
The papers are Basic Grey "Offbeat",i think these work well for Halloween.
For the sentiment "BOO" i've used Doodlebug rub-ons all mixed up in lime green.
The bat and the hands are from a mixed bag of Halloween stuff from Poundland.

LET IT SNOW!!!!!!

Well with a bit of luck you will be reading this post....i'm actually in Cyprus and have scheduled this so i'm hoping it's worked!
Another fab sketch this week by Jo..over at SKETCH SATURDAY i have rotated it to suit the image i wanted to use....this gorgeous snowman "Basil" is a digital image from Pollycraft,i've coloured him using Koh-I-Noor woodless colouring pencils,my favourite medium at the moment.I've added a touch of glamour dust to the fur trim on is hat and mits and plenty of stickles to the snow.
The papers are again from my everlasting DCWV Christmas stack.
The snowflake border was made with a Fiskars punch and the snowflakes with Xcut punches.
For the sentiment i've used Doodlebug rub-ons.
Ribbon and self adhesive pearls are from my stash mountain :0).

Well i'm sure we would have had a good turn out last week...with plenty of gorgeous entries,so thank you and hope to see you all again this week.I should be home late tomorrow evening so hopefully will be back to normal in a few days...after all the washing and ironing :0(.

FIRST DT CARD FOR SKETCH SATURDAY.....

Well here we are my first DT card for SKETCH SATURDAY...and i must say a fabby sketch as always by Jo to start with :0).
I love the colours on this card one of my favourite colour combo's...and i think the image works well with these too.....the stamp i had as soon as it came out,Penny Black "Mimi and Friend" which i've coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's.
The papers are My Minds Eye "Quite Contrary" and came free with a magazine.
The flowers i've cut with a Xcut punch and added some self adhesive pearls to the centers.
The sentiment is a Doodlebug rub-on "All Mixed Up" medium size in Bubblegum.
Lastly alittle glamour dust to there wings.

DT FOR STAMPAVIE AND MORE.....PENNY BLACK.

Morning everyone....today i've got my DT card for Stampavie and More to share with you,our theme this week is "NUMBERS",somewhere on your card/project we would like to see a number.

I've used a PB stamp "Lovely Bubbly",i wanted to kill two birds with one stone...the theme over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge is "CELEBRATIONS" so i'm entering my card into that too.This all fell just right for me the girl next door is 21 next week so i needed to do a card for her and for once i'm infront...lol.

I've coloured the image using Promarkers and Prisma's...i love Penny Black stamps i think they're so easy to colour.The papers are DCWV "Christmas Stack",as is the textured card.I've cut the stars freehand and they are mounted at different levels with silicone gel to give alittle dimension to the card,i've added glamour dust to the dots on the paper to give some sparkle but this is not showing too good in the photo.

To finish i've used a "Threading Water" Fiskars punch for the trim with some ribbon from stash.Numbers are Doodlebug rub-ons.

SKETCH SATURDAY #55...."CHILLAXING".

Morning everyone...haven't entered the Sketch Saturday challenge for such a long time,well to be honest don't get to enter many challenges now other than the one's i'm on the DT for....too little time :0(.

I needed to make a couple of the dreaded men's cards and when i saw this weeks sketch it was perfect for the image i wanted to use on one of them...had to go for it!

The image is from Victoria Case Art Design's "Chillaxin"...i love her work!,coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's...not much colouring actually i wanted to paper piece the chair,i've cut it out and raised it using dimensional tape.The papers are Pink Petticoat "His 'n' Hers" and the sentiment i've done with Doodlebug "all mixed up"rub-ons,button's from stash.Not alot to it...but just how i wanted it!

Sketch And Stash Challenge 1......a great new challenge Blog started this week,i'd like to wish Becky and her DT all the best,i know this is going to be a big success.

MAGNOLIA Vs STAMPAVIE.....CHALLENGE 1,SKETCH IT !

Week 1 over at Magnolia Vs Stampavie this week is a sketch by one of the DT JayJay,i must say i really enjoyed using this sketch,so thank you JayJay....
I've gone for Magnolia this week.....Tilda carrying presents,which i've coloured using Promarkers and Prisma's,with alittle glamour dust to her wings....every girl deserves alittle bling...lol.I've then cut her out and 3d'd her using silicon glue.
The papers and textured card are all DCWV .
Extra stamped presents are from a SeeD's set "Fun Christmas" and also coloured with the same Promarkers and Prisma's,again cut out and raised using silicon glue.

SECRET CRAFTER SATURDAY CHALLENGE......SKETCH #5

Hi everyone,hope you're all enjoying the weekend and what's left of it....Over at Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge this week is another great sketch by one of the DT Jill,and i must say a lovely sketch to work with,so thank you Jill and i will be using it again...but wait there's a twist this week,you must use only pink,brown and white....sorry i've used alittle green for the grass too...lol

STAMP WITH SARAH KAY.....SKETCH 13.

Thanks to everyone who joined us on the challenge again last week,some great cards were created,hope to see you all again this week at "STAMP WITH SARAH KAY"I don't know why but i really struggled with this card,and to be honest i'm not happy with it now,i was going to bin this and start again from scratch,but didn't really have the time,so just had to go with this one.
The SK stamp i've used is a kiss for Chloe,coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's,matted and layered using nestabilities,then 3d'd on dimensional tape.I came up with the idea of giving him a ballon to give Chloe as well as a kiss...lol.
The paper is DCWV.
The embossed "with love" is a cuttlebug border.
The hearts i've stamped on with Versafine Vintage Sepia from a wedding set,not sure of the make.
Brads and ribbon from stash,and sentiment is done with Doodlebud rub-ons.

C.C.T,CHALLENGE 28......."FOOD"

Challenge 28 at Cute Card Thursday this week is "FOOD".I thought i would use a stamp i haven't used for while for this one,"Picking Apples".Well the sentiment sums up my day today,have you ever had one of those days,when you wish you could start it all over again...lol,it's just gone from bad to worse,oh well need to put it down to experience...enough of me feeling sorry for myself,back to the card.
The stamp "Picking Apples",Sugar Nellie from Funkykits,coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's,matted and layered using nestabilities.
The paper,textured card and brad are all DCWV.
The bubble corner is M.I.Y.
The metal butterflies are called Memory Charms,Marian and Me,you should actually set them like you would an eyelet,but i wanted them to stand proud from the card so have stuck them with alittle silicon glue.
