Hi everyone....well whos pinched the sun,its a very dull start here this morning...hope it brightens up i'd got alittle gardening planned....oh well maybe crafting instead :)...
Todays card was a quick make yesterday afternoon...and i must say i'm happy with the way its turned out.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY and CUTE AS A BUTTON.....

Today i've two cards to share with you....firstly my DT card for THE PAPER SHELTER...this week we have the theme of "Bling it up".
I've used "Birthday Cupcake" image and "Birthday Cupcake papers" set....both available to purchase from THE PAPER SHELTER.
i'VE 3d'd the topping on the cupcake using pinflair glue gel,i've used glossy accents,self adhesive gems and glamour dust to bling it up!
The sentiment is from a Elzybells clear stamp set....sadly no longer available.

VERITY....

Today see's the start of a new challenge over at SKETCH SATURDAY....another fab sketch by Jo,i'm sure you'll agree! I've gone with a Sugar Nellie image "Verity standing" available as a digi image from Funky Kits...these are perfect for that much needed sugar rush :0). I've used Promarkers and Prisma's to colour and i've stamped around the image using a flourish stamp from HOTP. The sentiment is by Lilli Of The Valley...i don't think these are on the web site till alittle later on this month,picked mine up fron the NEC. The papers are My Minds Eye "Wild Asparagus"...forgot i'd got these,found them while searching for something else :0). I've cut the tiny flowers using a Xcut punch...ribbon,brads and self adhesive pearls from stash. We are sponsored this week by SIMON SAY'S STAMP.....and the lucky winner this week will get a $25 gift certificate to spend on whatever they choose :0)...can i enter,lol.

PERFECT MOMENT IN TIME......

Hi.....yesterday i had some spare time on my hands and needed to unwind so decided i'd colour another one of the new Adorables "Grace Standing" from Sugar Nellie...i've used Promarkers and Prisma's as my colouring medium.
The papers are K & Co "McKenna"....i've distressed each layer using a distressing tool and then used "Old Paper" Distressing Ink to go over the edge.
The sentiment is off a set from Debbi Moore......everything else from stash.

I've used the sketch over at the SUGAR BOWL CHALLENGE.....this week it's by Kiki.with the optional theme of Birthdays.

For my card i decided to use one of the new "Adorables" from Sugar Nellie....i've gone with "Faith" and have coloured her using Copic markers and Prisma's.

I've distressed every layer with a distressing tool and then with "Old Paper" Distress Ink.....i've also added alittle of the ink to the flowers.

SNOW LOVED.....

Hi everyone....well today i'd like to share my DT card for STAMPAVIE and MORE....this week our challenge is "Snowmen",now i know what you're all thinking,she must be mad making Christmas cards already...well there's nothing like starting early...LOL.
I decided to go with a Sugar Nellie stamp "Snow Loved"...coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's.....and just added alittle stickles for the snow.
The papers are DCWV from the "Christmas Wishes" stack.
The panel of green cardstock behind the image i've used a Cuttlebug embossing folder "Snowflakes"....once embossed i rubbed over the raised parts with a sanding block to reveal the white core underneath,so looking like real snow :0).
The ribbon i recycled from a Christmas gift and self adhesive pearls from stash.

For my layout i've followed the sketch by Marlene over at the SUGAR BOWL CHALLENGE....must say a dream to work with,i did rotate it so that i could go with this image,the optional extra is embossing (green panel behing image).

I'm also entering this into the following challenges :-

ABC CHRISTMAS....A is for "Anything Christmas"

I LOVE PROMARKERS...."Recycle"...the ribbon is off a Christmas Present.

SUGAR BOWL CHALLENGE 39 and CUTE CARD THURSDAY....

Hi...i decided to join the challenge over at the SUGAR BOWL...this week there's a fabby sketch to follow by Lilian and an optional theme of BLUE...

I'm also entering this card into CUTE CARD THURSDAY...which is "GET A HEAD START!"..on your Christmas cards that is!

The image i've used is from the Sugar Nellie Home Grown Manga range "Poinsettia"...coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's,i've added alittle glamour dust to the bow on the pot and to the centers of the poinsettia's.

I've hand stitched around two edges of the image and added a couple of large cross stitches to the corner.

The paper is Dovecraft "Winter Wonderland"...i've added a few self adhesive gem's to this,just to add alittle interest.

The corners have been cut using an Ek Success corner punch.

Adhesive pearls from stash.

Morning all....today is Wednesday and that mean's it's time for a new challenge over at Stampavie and More,this week we would like you to make a "BOOKMARK",a lovely change from a card!.

For mine i've used a Sugar Nellie stamp "Cheddar",coloured with Copic's and Prisma's.The papers and textured card are all Cosmo Cricket.The sentiment is computer generated.

All layers have been cut out using the long rectangle nesties.

The glasses i've had for an age,don't know where from sorry!,the tassel is from Joanna Sheen.

DT FOR STAMPAVIE AND MORE....BIRDS.

Hi....another new challenge for you this week at Stampavie and More,we have a theme of "BIRDS",so somewhere on your card we need to see a bird.

For mine i've used a Sugar Nellie Leanne Ellis stamp "Fly Free" from Funkykits,coloured not so good with Copic markers,haven't used these for awhile,need to get back into the swing of these again.Sentiment is MFT,and the tab which is as been stamped on was done with a Woodware punch.Flowers are from Poppicrafts,and small pink ones i've punched using another Woodware punch.,lace brad and adhesive pearls from stash.

I'm also entering this into My Time To Craft...the theme this week is no patterned paper.Hope you will all come and join us this week,and a big thank you to those who took up the challenge last week.Well i'll love and leave you,have a lovely day

DOUBLE DT....STAMP WITH FUN & CUTE DAISY MAY.

Hi...it's Monday so that mean's ive two cards to share with you,both DT...firstly Stamp With Fun,where this week the theme is "TURQUOISE & BROWN",gorgeous colour combo i'm sure you will agree.I've used Sugar Nellie Home Grown "Macbeth" from Funkykits,coloured with Distress Inks,matted and layered onto a round nestie and then a shapeabilities nested flower.the two smaller flowers have been cut out using these same dies.The papers are Funky Fairy's "Hope Collection".The lighter turquoise panel i've embossed using the Cuttlebug "Swiss Dots" folder,which i've also doted some small self adhesive pearls onto.The scalloped brown trim as been done with a Martha Stewart punch,ribbon from stash.

The second card i've got to share with you is for Cute Daisy May...the theme this week is "AS YOU LIKE IT!" in other words do what you want,and there's a fabby prize up for grabs this week,you must go check it out :0).I've used two sheets this week to create my card,the well which i think is a really useful image is from "SHEET 37" and the girl is from "SHEET 19",these along with many more gorgeous images can been found HERE,great value for money too.I've coloured mine using Promarkers and Prisma's.The textured card is DCWV,the sentiment is computer generated using "Bradley Hand" font.Flowers are Prima's,everything else from stash.

DOUBLE DT.....STAMP WITH FUN and CUTE DAISY MAY.

Well ive got two cards to share with you today...the first is my DT card for Stamp with fun,challenge 6,this week there's a sketch to follow,well you've got a choice of two,both layouts the same,one's a shaped card,i've opted for the later.The sketch is by Conny who is also our sponser for this weeks prize,check out the challenge Blog for more details.

For my card i've used one of my new stamps by Sugar Nellie,Country Cousins "Purrfect Playmates" from Funkykits,coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's.The papers are BG "Granola",i would normally use these on male cards but i think they work well with this image.The textured card is DCWV,brads are Cosmo Cricket and ribbon from stash.

My second one is my DT card for the Cute Daisy May challenge,this week again there's a sketch to follow.and must say a lovely one to work with.I've used an image from "sheet 22"....how cute is she,you can get her and so many more gorgeous images from HERE.

Coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's,cut out and mounted onto nesties,can't tell you why i've gone for this colour scheme,it just seemed to happen...lol.

The papers are "Gorgeous Ginghams"and "Dainty Dots" both from Funky Fairy's.The sentiment i used on both is from the Papermania sentiments set by Clare Curd.

STAMP WITH FUN.....BROWN-PINK.

This week,week 2 at Stamp With Fun we have a colour challenge for you of "Brown & Pink",gorgeous colour combo i'm sure you'll all agree.

We had a brilliant turn out last week thanks to all that joined in,hope to see you all again this week.

For my card i've gone with one of the "Gorjuss"girls by Sugar Nellie purchased from Funkykits,coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's,then cut out using nesties.

The other two stamps i've used are "Love Envelope" by Magnolia and Maya Road "Postcard".

Papers are Raspberry Road "Mothers Love" and "In With The Old" Funky Fairy's.

Sentiment generated on the computer "Angelina" font.

STAMPAVIE AND MORE....."CUP OF TEA".

Another week as rolled round,where does the time go.This week at Stampavie And More the theme is "Red and White",a lovely colour combo.Hope you will all come and join in,to all those who joined us last week a big thank you you made some gorgeous cards.

For my DT card i decided this week to use a Sugar Nellie Leanne Ellis stamp "Cup Of Tea"available to purchase from Funkykits,coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's,not that there was that much colouring to do.

I didn't want to use any patterned paper on this card so just lots of layers,a couple of which i've used my Fiskars "Threading Water" punch on and another i've used a cutlebug embossing folder.

The cup i stamped twice so that i could 3d it with some silicone to give alittle bit of dimension to the card,this is not showing that good in the photo.

The flower and circle with sentiment was cut using my Wizard,the sentiment is Cornish Heritage Farm.

The ribbon is from Poppicrafts.

SWS....."DOTS AND STRIPES"....AND BLOG NEW'S.

Morning everyone,to say it's been a funny week over at Stamp With Stampavie is abit of an understatement.The challenge Blog was lost at one point and it didn't look like it was going to be restored,but low and behold if by magic it somehow reappeared :0).

Not thinking this would be the case a new Blog was set up ready for this week by Tina,Jacqueline and Mona "Stamp With Fun",due to all the hard work that's gone into setting this new Blog up the girls have decided to leave us and continue with the new challenge Blog...well Mona will be DT on both as will a number of us,so yes i'm now on the two.Stamp with Fun will start on Monday 6th April.

Hope you will all come and support both :0).

Stamp With Stampavie is now "Stampavie And More" which mean's you can now use any stamps that you want to,this week the theme is "Dots and Stripes"

It was about time my Sugar Nellie"Gorjuss" girls from Funkykits saw the light of day so after much deliberating "sitting" Gorjuss won,well her spotted dress and striped tights go well with the theme,coloured with Promarkers,Prisma's and Sansador,cut out and raised using silicone glue.

The papers are Rasberry Road "Mothers Love" and the sentiment is Papermania Clare Curd's signature range....an andy sent of sentiments.

Everything else from bit box.

THE SUGAR BOWL...CHALLENGE 7,"SPRING/EASTER"

Afternoon everyone...challenge 7 at The Suger Bowl is "Spring/Easter",the card i've made would i think suit either,i haven't put a sentiment on because i haven't yet decided what i will use it for.

RECIPE FOR CARD:-

The stamp is "Peek-A-Bunny" by Sugar Nellie,from Funkykits.

The papers are "Venetian Skies" by Papermania and "Roam" K&Co.

Medium is Promarkers,Prisma's and Sansador....must get my Copics back out.

Ribbon from Poppicrafts.

Punches for flowers are Xcut and "Ash Branch" by Leone Em.

I've also used a Fiskars corner punch "Bugs" to cut the very tiny dragonflies out.

The flat backed pearls for the flower centres are Papercellar.

THE SUGAR BOWL,CHALLENGE 2........THREE !

For challenge 2 over at The Sugar Bowl the theme is "THREE",you can have no more or no less than three of the things that make up your card,three papers, three embelishments...etc,if you use three images on your card you will be entered into the draw twice,and you could be one of the three lucky winners to receive some fabby goodies including three of the yet to be released Mary Hall stamps...sugar,sugar....would i like to get my hands on this sweet candy...lol.

For my card i've gone for three images by Leanne Ellis "CHOOSE","TRUE LOVE" and "WISH",purchased from Funkykits,coloured with Copic Markers....i think i've improved alittle with these.

The three papers,one patterned and two plain are all Basic Grey "Granola".

My three embelishments are ribbon,heart charm and button (well two buttons put together to make one embelishment),all these from stash.

Sketch And Stash Challenge 1......a great new challenge Blog started this week,i'd like to wish Becky and her DT all the best,i know this is going to be a big success.

It's every crafters dream Blog,the challenge every 2 weeks is to follow the sketch,and use any of your lastest stash.
