LET IT SNOW!!!!!!

Well with a bit of luck you will be reading this post....i'm actually in Cyprus and have scheduled this so i'm hoping it's worked!
Another fab sketch this week by Jo..over at SKETCH SATURDAY i have rotated it to suit the image i wanted to use....this gorgeous snowman "Basil" is a digital image from Pollycraft,i've coloured him using Koh-I-Noor woodless colouring pencils,my favourite medium at the moment.I've added a touch of glamour dust to the fur trim on is hat and mits and plenty of stickles to the snow.
The papers are again from my everlasting DCWV Christmas stack.
The snowflake border was made with a Fiskars punch and the snowflakes with Xcut punches.
For the sentiment i've used Doodlebug rub-ons.
Ribbon and self adhesive pearls are from my stash mountain :0).

Well i'm sure we would have had a good turn out last week...with plenty of gorgeous entries,so thank you and hope to see you all again this week.I should be home late tomorrow evening so hopefully will be back to normal in a few days...after all the washing and ironing :0(.

Hi everyone and welcome to the WHIMSY HALLOWEEN - FALL BLOG HOP if you have arrived here from the lovely Lorraine's (Coldwaters 2) blog then you are in the right place,if not then you might want to start at the Whimsy Inspirations Blog so that you don't miss anything along the way.

For my card i decided you go for an easel shape and to use the new "Autumn Harvest Ride" by Crissy Armstrong...love this image and such a dream to colour.I've used a mixture of Copic markers and Koh-I-Noor woodless colouring pencils, blended with Sansador.

The pole and the harnesses have been gold leafed,i've added gold glamour dust to the tassels and finished off with three self adhesive pearls.

The sentiment which i've also gold leafed around the edge is a new release today from Raindrop Echo Designs "Autumn Sentiments"...these are just perfect, resize and print to suit your needs.

The leaves i've cut using a Spellbinders die and coloured them using Distress Inks and then sprayed them with "Rich Gold"glimmer mist...gorgeous IRL,hard to capture in the photo.

Please don't forget to leave a comment on each of the blogs included in the hop as there will be 2 random blogs chosen each will pick a winner from their comments and the winner will then be able to choose a digital image of their choice.

The grand prize winner of the hop will recieve 5 new digital images of their choice, and will get the chance to use them as a guest designer for Whimsy for the entire month of October. This winner will be picked from the very last stop which is your next port of call.....so please after leaving a comment make your way to the lovely Lisa's blog.
