I've made this card for the Quixotic Challenge where this week the brief is "HOW SENTIMENTAL"....make a sentiment/word art the focus of your card or project.
Quick and easy...i love to play with my Spellbinders frames and pendant dies as you have probably gathered from my card. It's suprising what combinations you can come up with!
Recipe for card:-
Stamps...Waltzing Mouse "Afternoon Tea" and "Afternoon Tea Sentiments",the little tea bag stamp i've actually stamped onto a double layer of a tea bag,cut it out and just adhered to the card at the top so that it looks like a real tea bag.
The large kettle i've stamped and coloured with Distress Ink "Spun Sugar",cut out and raised up using Pinflair Silicone glue gel.
Spellbinders dies :-bottom layer..."Foliage Frame" x 2 (black).second layer Shapeabilities Pendant "Fleur De Lis" x 2,top layer, sentiment cut out using circle nestie die layered onto a big scalloped circle.....all layers have been edged with the "Spun Sugar" distress ink.
Paper is Basic Grey "Ambrosia" again edged with "Spun Sugar"
Black pearls from stash.
Well hope that sounds ok to you..lol,we've (me and OH)have just had a bottle of homemade Elderflower wine with our meal and it's gone to my head....doesn't take alot..lol,don't drink much so soon gets over me!
That's about it then.
Take care
