THE SUGAR BOWL...CHALLENGE 7,"SPRING/EASTER"

Afternoon everyone...challenge 7 at The Suger Bowl is "Spring/Easter",the card i've made would i think suit either,i haven't put a sentiment on because i haven't yet decided what i will use it for.

RECIPE FOR CARD:-

The stamp is "Peek-A-Bunny" by Sugar Nellie,from Funkykits.

The papers are "Venetian Skies" by Papermania and "Roam" K&Co.

Medium is Promarkers,Prisma's and Sansador....must get my Copics back out.

Ribbon from Poppicrafts.

Punches for flowers are Xcut and "Ash Branch" by Leone Em.

I've also used a Fiskars corner punch "Bugs" to cut the very tiny dragonflies out.

The flat backed pearls for the flower centres are Papercellar.

WOJ & ABC......CHARLOTTE ROYAL AND REGAL.

Morning everyone...another card to cover 2 challenges,WOJ challenge this week is a sketch by one of the DT Donalda...lovely sketch to work with,thank you Donalda i may have to use this one again.And the other challenge i'm entering this card in is ABC "G is for GLITTER".

STAMP WITH STAMPAVIE & A SPOON FULL OF SUGAR....

Another week's gone by,dosen't the time just fly,never enough crafting time...lol.This week at Stamp With Stampavie we have a sketch for you to follow by our very talented DT member Sonja (Flati),and i must say a fabby sketch to work with,thank you Sonja.Thanks to all of you who joined us last week and i hope to see you all again this week :0).

It's alittle naughty of me i know but i'm also entering this card in A Spoon Full Of Sugar this week where the theme is "EASTER",so little time so many challenges....

1 QUICK CARD.....TO COVER 2 CHALLENGES.

Well i wanted to join in with a couple of the challenges,but i've been pushed for time so it had to be a pretty quick and simple card.....no stamping or colouring,well i stamped the sentiment that took all of a second...lol.

Not my usual type of card,but hey i rather like it now it's finished.

The 2 challenges are Basicgrey challenge 27 which this week the theme is "TEXTURE"and Colour Create challenge 8 which this week is "NAVY,TURQUOISE and LIME",gorgeous colour combo.

For my card i've used Basic grey "Urban Prairie","Boxer"and "Offbeat",i've cut the flower out using shapeabilities Nested Flowers then i've used Swiss dots embossing folder to give some texture. the butterflies have also been cut out and embossed on the Wizard.I've used silicone gel between each of the flower layers to give some dimension and height.The butterfly i've made up of i each of the colours like the flower.

I've used my MS punch to form the decorative edge along the bottom and in the corner of my card.

The sentiment is by Scappy Cat.

AN AWARD....

I've been given an award by the very talented Sandra (no i'm not blowing my own trumpet....lol)i'm talking about Sandra Dry,if you've never visited Sandra's Blog where have you been?....what you waiting for!,it's well worth a visit.

So Sandra i would like to say a very big "THANK YOU",now comes the hard part....who do i pass it on to?,well i'm going to be a bit crafty here....i'd like to pass it on to all my wonderful followers,all of you leave me some beautiful comments and they are sooooo appreciated,so please help yourself to the award i want you to have it....

ABC CHALLENGE....F IS FOR FLOWERS.

The ABC challenge this week is "F is for flowers",should imagine there will be a few joining in this week,most people embellish with flowers.

For my card i've used a Foam stamp i got from QVC some time back and had never got round to inking it up,it's a fairly large stamp,the card base i've used is 6x6,this will give you some idea of how large.

I stamped the image using Versafine Vintage Sepia and just added a touch of colour to the flowers using chalks.All layers,lace and flowers have been distressed lightly with the same ink pad.

The paper is Basic Grey "Urban Prairie",Prima flowers and a Dovecraft flower brad.

The lace came with the Blog candy i won from Bev,gorgeous lace Bev thank you.

Sentiment is from a set from Create and Craft,no make.

Flat backed pearls and hatpin from stash.

DT CARD FOR SWS,THANK YOU'S & APOLOGIES.....

Well it's been 5 weeks since my last post,this is the first card/crafting i've done since then,i've really missed joining in with the challenges,thank you all on the Stamp With Stampavie DT for your patience and allowing me much needed time with my mom,and allowing me now to resume my DT post.
I would like to thank all of you who sent me well wishes for my mom,and the hugs you sent me they were all sooooo appreciated.I'm so pleased to tell you my mom came home yesterday,she's not 100%,i doubt if she ever will be,but she's home and i'm thankful for that.
Now onto apologies,i didn't do much Blogging during this time,and when i did visit your Blogs to check out what you'd all been up to i'm sorry to say i didn't leave any comments,please forgive me for this,and over the next few days i'll try to get round to you all.
Now onto my card....the theme for the Stamp With Stampavie challenge this week is "SPRING",i wanted to make a nice bright,fresh and cheery card,i think i've achieved what i was aiming for.
The Sarah Kay stamp is "Precious Moments" coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's,i stamped her hat twice cut the second one out and 3d'd it with silicone to give some dimension.
The paper is from Designer Digitals,it's called "Spunky" by Jess Edwards...i love this collection.
The Easter sentiment also from DD.
Prima flowers.
Dovecraft flower brad and Papermania photo anchor.
All layers and corner pieces cut using my Wizard.
