STAMPAVIE AND MORE DT CARD....."BEST FRIENDS"

Hi everyone....another week rolled round at Stampavie and More,we're now onto challenge 42,where do the weeks go....and this week we have a great sketch by Betty,thank you Betty i enjoyed working with this one and i know i will use this layout again.

I've done some paper piecing on this one...these stamps designed by Leere Aldrich lend themselves so well to this technique.The rest of the image as been coloured using Promarkers and Prisma's.

The paper is from a DCWV Christmas stack....no rules to say it can only be used for Christmas...lol.And the sentiment is Papermania from the Clare Curds signature range.I've finished off with tiny self adhesive pearls by Kanban and some black dew drops from stash.

A simple card ,but i'm happy with it!

STAMP WITH FUN WK 5 and FIRST DT CARD FOR CUTE DAISY MAY.

Hi everyone,today i've got two DT cards to share with you...Stamp With Fun challenge 5 which this week is a size format of 10.5cm x 20cm.....4" x 8" i enjoyed doing this one,so much of a change from my normal square cards.
The second one i've got to show you is my first DT card for Cute Daisy May....i recieved an Email last week from Linnie the very talented lady who is behind the Cute Daisy May images offering me a position on her DT,well as you can gather i accepted :0).

STAMP WITH FUN.....
Like i said this week is a size format of 10.5cm x 20cm....4" x 8".
I've used a much neglected WOJ stamp "Matthew With Present" i'm ashamed to say this one had never been inked up,he's been coloured using Promarkers and Prisma's with Sansador,cut out (i've clipped his wings...lol)and 3d'd using silicone gel.
The papers are Basic Grey "Urban Prairie".
The sentiment is also WOJ from the "General Sayings Set".Everything else from stash.

FIRST DT CARD FOR CUTE DAISY MAY.....

Well like i said Linnie Emailed me last week and asked me to join her DT,i accepted and here we are my first DT card.

I've used a lovely image from" Sheet 11"....i think this girls got attitude ...lol,there's so many gorgeous images to choose from you can view and buy them HERE.

I've coloured mine using Promarkers and Prisma's,sorry it's a green theme again,i'm having abit of a green thing at the moment...lol,need to try to move away from it.

The papers are Papermania "Olivine Essence".

The lacing along the middle of the card as been done using a Fiskars "Threading Water" punch.

Doodlebug "All Mixed Up" rub-ons for sentiment,ribbon and pearls from stash.

DU2DS,CHALLENGE 5........SKETCH BY SANDRA.

Another Friday rolled round again...where do the weeks go!which means it time for another "DARE" at Dare You To Digi Stamp,this week we have a lovely sketch to follow my Sandra D,thank you Sandra....and also for the peas..lol,so hope you will all come and join us again,thank you to all who joined us last week i enjoyed checking out your fabby creations.

For my DT card this week i've used one of Chris's (Sketching Stamper) digi images,"Mini Love" from the "Lots Of Love Boys" set.....brilliant set and excellent value.

I've used Promarkers to colour the image and added some clear dew drops and dome circles for the lights.I've cut the image out and raised it alittle using silicone gel onto an embossed panel made using "Distressed Stripes" Cuttlebug folder.

The papers and textured card are DCWV from the Winter/Christmas set which i had from QVC.

The large gromet came with my Big Bite which i also purchased from QVC.

Black dew drops and ribbon from stash,"u passed" on the No plate 7 Gypsies rub ons.

That about sums it up....a very girly you've passed card,well it's not only males who pass their driving tests is it!!!!

All thats left to say is hope you'll all join us....don't forget you need to use one digital image on your card/project....this can be a digital image from any company...look forward to visiting you all,

STAMPAVIE AND MORE..."SPRING BLOSSOMS"

This week at Stampavie and More we have a sketch to follow by Nette,hope you will all come and join in it's a lovely sketch to work with...thank you Nette.

Still sticking with my Stampavie stamps i've gone for a Sarah Kay image and a burgundy and green colour combo....must try and get away from the green,i've used it alot lately.

I've also made the rose on this card,i'm pleased with how this as turned out....if you would like to have a go at making one you can find the tutorial here,really easy to make,but i think very effective,i will be making some more.

RECIPE FOR CARD:-

JUST MAGNOLIA'S WEEK 2......"PINK and GREEN".

Well it's the second week at Just Magnolia's,and the theme this week is "Pink and Green",when this challenge Blog was set up i set myself abit of a challenge to join in on this one every week...i've got afew much neglected Magnolia's that need to see the light of day....lol.

Having said that these are new stamps i've used today...love these :0).I've done some masking with a post-it note so that i could sit Tilda on the watering can...abit hit and miss with the position...i need to get a stamp positioning thingy,you know what i mean..lol.

Recipe For Card:-

STAMPS:- "Spring Tilda" and "Watercan" coloured with Promarkers,Prisma's and Sansador.

FLOWERS:- Prima's,middles -paper roses,flat back pearl,mini button and flat backed glass bead all from stash as is the ribbon.

LABEL HOLDER:- Making Memories.

SENTIMENT:- Papermania,from the Clare Curd's signature range.

STAMP WITH FUN CHALLENGE 4......SKETCH BY BEV.

This week at Stamp With Fun (challenge 4) we have a sketch for you to follow by our GD Bev,lovely sketch to work with and one i will be using again...so thank you Bev.

What image to use was an easy decision for me this week,my second set of the "gorjuss" had arrived so just had to have a play.

RECIPE FOR CARD:-

Stamp:- Sugar Nellie "Gorjuss girls set 2" from Funkykits.

Colouring medium :- Promarkers,Prisma's blended with Sansador and alittle glamour dust on the tips of the wings.

Paper:- Funky Fairy download "Hope" collection.

Sentiment:- Clare Curd's sentiment range.

Flowers:- A mixture of Prima's,Flora Doodles and one i'm not sure of the make.

Others:- Pearls(thank you Chris),gems and heart phone charm from stash.

Dovecraft "Flower Garden" punch used for decorative edge.And all ovals and circles cut with nesties on the Wizard.

DU2DS,WEEK 4....."THINGS WITH WINGS".

Week 4 at DU2DS and the challenge this week is "Things with Wings",now this could cover a multitude of things....images,papers,charms as long as there's something on your project with wings and of coarse there must be one digital image (this can be any companies image).

For my DT card i've gone with one of Sandra's (Sandra Dry Digi Images)fairy images "Rosabella Wish"coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's with alittle glamour dust added to her wings,every fairy needs some sparkle...lol,she's been cut out using nesties and mounted onto 3d dimensional tape to raise it slightly from the base card.

The papers are abit of a mixture the patterned paper is a free download from Summer Driggs "Sweet Spring Time" and the rest are Basic Grey "Sultry" and "Sugared".

I've made a trailing rose effect over and around Rosabella by punching some leaves out of the same BG paper using my Leone Em "Ash Branch" punch and then added afew tiny paper roses i'm really pleased with how this as turned out it sort of brings the backing paper to life a continuation shall we say.

The sentiment is Whiff Of Joy from the "Fairy Useful Sayings",the gem in her hair is a nail art gem these are brilliant sometimes the adhesive gems are alittle too large and the ribbon from stash.

I must say i'm "fairly"(pardon the pun) pleased with how this as turned out and hope you like it too :0).look forward to seeing all your fabby creations this week so please come and join us,thanks to everyone for your support last week we had some amazing cards hope to see you all again this week.
