SWEET DREAMS.....

Time for another fabby sketch by Jo over at SKETCH SATURDAY....and this week we are sponsored by Ah! La Carte,the winner of this weeks challenge will receive two Wild Rose Studio stamps,well worth joining in :0)....
I inked up a stamp i've had for ages and not got round to using...how bad is that,such a cute stamp too...."Sweet Dreams" by Penny Johnson.
I've had a change of colouring medium on this one too,i've dug my Distress Inks out and Twinkling H2Os...
I've added alittle gold glamour dust to the stars,not showing too good in the photo.
The patterned cardstock is from a Martha Stewart "Golden Woodland" stack,i've used some mirri card on this one it works well with the gold foiling on the trees.
I've used a Fiskars "Threading Water" punch to form the scalloped border and then added self adhesive pearls.
The sentiment is a Personal Impressions.

BLUE AND GREEN SHOULD NEVER BE SEEN !........

Blue and green should never be seen!...well myself i love this colour combo and should always be seen!...lol.
Another Christmas card under my belt....in front alittle this year :0).
The challenge over at TRULY SCRUMPTIOUS this week is a sketch...enjoyed working with this one,and extra colour combo of "Blue and Green should never be seen"...just had to join in on this one...it also gave me the chance to use some new stamps that arrived this week,wanted to have a play :0)....the stamp set i've used is a new release from Waltzing Mouse "Nutcracker Sweet"....both the image and sentiment are from this set.
I've coloured old St Nicholas with Promarkers and Prisma's,and added alittle gold glamour dust just to highlight parts of his robe and hat....i can never capture the sparkle on camera :0(.
The paper is Basic Grey "Two Scoops".
I've used a Martha Stewart "Zig-Zag" border punch,Spellbinders "Labels Ten" die and a Ek Success corner punch.
Brads,ribbon,self adhesive gem and gold border peel off from stash.

WALTZING MOUSE SKETCH #14......FOR MEDICINAL USE...LOL

Wanted to join in the challenge over at WALTZING MOUSE...so i've had alittle play this afternoon,no colouring just alittle stamping....i love these stamps,if you haven't yet discovered Waltzing Mouse stamps it's well worth taking a look...you'll find them HERE.

I've wanted to have a go at making a wine bottle cover for awhile now....this weeks sketch i think is just perfect for this project :0)....
I've used Waltzing Mouse "Rescue Remedies"....love this set and they're nestie friendly (labels four).

The textured cardstock is DCWV and the patterned cardstock is K&Co "Wild Raspberry".

I've used a Fiskars border punch (Threading Water) for the scalloped edge and then threaded some string througth the holes.

The tassel,button and self adhesive pearls all from stash.
Each layer and the label have been edged with "Old Paper" Distress Ink.

Well as you can see from the photo the wine is homemade Elderberry...not made by me i must add,but my favourite homemade wine :0).

"FISHING" YOU A HAPPY BIRTHDAY.....

It's Sunday again...so that mean's it's time for another challenge over at JUST CUTE BEARS....this week it's a photo inspiration challenge (photo below)...well i couldn't come up with anything other than taking the colours from it....i'm sure some of you will do better than me :0),i look forward to seeing what you come up with.....and thanks to all who joined us last week for the "dotty" challenge we had some gorgeous entries :0).

For my card i've used a "Tatty Teddy" image from off the internet....coloured it using Prisma's and Sansador....i'm not too happy with it but was short on time so had to just go with it!I've added glossy accents to the water but it's not showing very good...photography not one of my good points i'm afraid :0(.

The papers are from a kit i had many moon's ago from Create and Craft.

The sentiment was computer generated using "Bradley Hand" font.

Fishing basket,fish and brad all from stash.

LUNA BITTERFROST.....

Saturday again...where's this week gone?....but it does mean it's time for another challenge over at SKETCH SATURDAY,and i must say another fabby sketch by Jo again this week,we had a good response last week,hope you will all come and join us again this week :0).

For my card i went with one of the new Pollycraft Christmas images Luna Bitterfrost-"Frosty"...such a dream to colour.I used Promarkers and Prisma's as my medium to colour with...my favourite at the moment.

The papers,textured cardstock and stitched ribbon are all DCWV.

The snowflakes were cut using a Spellbinders die...which i added diamond stickles to.....i've added the same stickles and also glamour dust to the snow on the image.

Self adhesive pearls,snowflake and tiny snowman embellishment from stash.

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges :-

POLLYCRAFT......Christmas no red or green....hence the colour scheme,but i think it suits this image perfectly :0).

BAH! HUMBUG!.....Using favourite mediums.....mine at the moment Promarkers and Prisma's.
TOTALLY PAPERCRAFTS....Lets go dotty....the backing paper's got dots on.

STAMP SOMETHING....Spots and stripes.

LETS GO DOTTY......

Well it's Sunday again which mean's we have another challenge for you over at JUST CUTE BEARS....this week the theme is "LET'S GO DOTTY",we would like to see lots of dots and spots on your cards/projects....just one other rule you must use a cute bear image :0).

For my card this week i've used a Pollycraft image from the "Bex-Birthday Fun" set coloured with Promarkers and alittle shading with Prima's.

The spot cardstock i've had for ages i'm not sure where from and the embossing as been done using a Crafts Too "Dots" embossing folder.

Cord and metal charm from stash.

Hi everyone....haven't been around much this week,i haven't posted anything since Monday :0(...it's just been one of those weeks....you know the sort i mean,i've had one or two problems to sort out and just when you think everythings getting back to normal (if there is such thing as normal) something else rears it's ugly head!...Oh well that's life!...enough waffle and onto my card.
This week over at SKETCH SATURDAY we have a lovely sketch to follow created by one of our teamies Jeanette....fabby sketch i so enjoyed working with this one :0).
