BELIEVE.....IN THE MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS.

Well it's Monday and that means it's time for another challenge over at POLLYCRAFT....this week the lovely boss Paula's picked the theme...."DOODLING",i'm not really a doodler,i'm alittle nervous of making a mess of my image...so there's not too much on my card...alittle faux stitching around the trees on the background paper and i've added some small squiggles in white pen to the scallops on the nestie.
The image i've used is a favourite of mine,"Radiance" From The Heart Christmas Pixies set....it was originally sold in stamp form,why i never purchased it i then i don't know,so i was well pleased when Paula released it as a digital image....it's gorgeous.
I've coloured it using Promarkers and Prisma's,and added some glamour dust to the wings.
The papers are Dovecraft "Winter Wonderland".
The sentiment i computer generated,the doily,ribbon and self adhesive pearls are from stash.

IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME....

We have a new challenge starting for you today over at JUST CUTE BEARS and FRIENDS.....the theme this week is "BLACK,WHITE PLUS 1 OTHER COLOUR"....as you can see i opted for RED.
The image i've used is "Santa's Puppy" a digital image by Crissy Armstrong and is available to purchase from WHIMSY STAMPS.This cute little puppy's been coloured using Copic Markers and Prisma's and i've added some stickles to his hat and around his feet.
The sentiment is from a Daisy and Dandelion clear Christmas stamp set.
The tartan cardstock is Kanban...ribbon and selfadhesive pearls from stash.

SPLASH OUT.....IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY!

I'd like to share a card with you today that i've made with one of todays new releases from MELJEN DESIGNS available to purchase from WHIMSY STAMPS,every Thursday Melissa releases new digi images...well worth taking a look.
I knew as soon as i saw this image "Little Umbrella Boy" i would be paper piecing it...just needed to decide on what paper i would be using...finally settled with this gingham paper from Joanna Sheen...i've had it for ages now so not sure if she still sells it....must say good quality :0).I've edged the paper with "Black Soot" Distressing Ink i feel it gives alittle more deepth to the card.The ticket sentiments are a download from Crafty Ann's...i've used the blanks and added my own sentiments on the computer using MCS.
Sorry i should have said that the rest of the image as been coloured using Promarkers and Prisma's.
I've finished the card off with some black pearls.

DISTRESSED MARIBEL.....

Hi everyone....something alittle different for me today,i've gone for the distressed / vintage look...i really think this gorgeous image cry's out for it!,and i must add today i'm happy with what i've made :0)...maybe my mojo's returned,we'll see...LOL!
No patterned papers...everything on the card as been stamped and everything's been distressed both with a distressing tool and Distress Inks....i made alot of mess,but hey i enjoyed it!and at the end of the day that's what it's all about!

A THANKFUL HEART....

Hi everyone....today i'd like to share a quick and simple card with you....no colouring as one of the challenges i'm entering states this.
The sentiment i've used as my focal point is a new release over at Whimsy Stamps...by Ann,Raindrop Echo Designs,it's from the "Gratitude Sentiments" set,these digi's are just perfect,you can resize to suit your needs.
The embossed paper is My Minds Eye "Bloom and Grow" which i've edged with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.
The flowers are Prima...to which i've added a mixture of centers...pearls,gems and gold glamour dust.
Finished off with ribbon from stash.


I'm entering this card into the following challenges:-
DIE CUT DREAMS CHALLENGE.....No colouring-plus feature a heart..there's two,one on the sentiment and a made with love gold heart in the center of one of the flowers.
SPOON FULL OF SUGAR.....Relish to Embellish.

AUD SENTIMENTS....."Thanks"...not sure if i can enter with this sentiment,but i'll give it a go :0).

For my card i decided on using one of Crissy Armstrong's new images "Little Christmas Angel"...how gorgeous is she! and i must say a dream to colour.I flipped the image,i wanted her facing the opposite way...that's the beauty of digi images you can do this and resize to suit your needs.

I've coloured her using Copic Markers and Prisma Pencils and then added alittle glamour dust to her wings.

The papers are DCWV Christmas stack.

The sentiment is also a new release today "Winter Curvy Frame" by Ann...Raindrop Echo Designs,the download comes both with and without the sentiment and again can be resized to suit your needs.

The die cut birds which i've also added glamour dust to came in a set many moons ago,not sure where from and the self adhesive pearls from stash.
