SUN,SEA,SAND......

Today over at the LESS IS MORE CHALLENGE the theme this week is :-

I've gone down the route of SUN,SEA & SAND....using all die cut and embossed letters for my card...and matching card colours to the words...eg yellow for sun etc....i've used sandpaper to mat and layer and for the word sand....


RECIPE FOR CARD :-
Spellbinders "Vintage" "Simplicity" and "Unicase Mosaic" alphabet dies.
Sentiment stamp Cornish Heritage Farms "Scripty Words".
Broken China distress ink  over embossed "sea" letters.
Pearl.
Sandpaper from hubby's shed...lol.

SWEET....

Hi everyone....i've a card to share with you today that i made yesterday i've used a new stamp designed by Elizabeth Bell that came free along with two others with the Quick Cards magazine....i didn't buy the magazine....hubby did,he came with it one of the nights at the beginning of the week when i'd asked him to call for a loaf on the way home from work...i was well pleased...lol.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY......

Hi everyone....well today i've a CAS card to share with you,i've used a stamp from Penny Black...just love Penny Black....these are the first stamps i started buying when i first got into stamping...and the Penny Black Saturday Challenge was my very first challenge i entered.

My card covers a few challenges...and i will list them at the bottom of this post...but i would like to wish Jen from Less Is More  a "Happy Birthday"....this is one of the challenges this card covers.

Simple Banner die is Poppystamps.
Glossy accents on the cake icing...not showing too good in photo.

LIM...MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR...

Morning all...my share with you today is my very first Christmas card for 2013....only six months to go...LOL...never too soon to make a start!
This weeks challenge at LESS IS MORE is a theme..."HEXAGONS"....i've given my Die-Namics hexagon die it's first use...must say i love it.....the center panel i've raised up using 3d foam pads to give alittle dimension to the card,and i've added three self adhesive stones to finish off...you've got to have alittle bling at Christmas!


RECIPE FOR CARD :-
Base card A4 folded in half to make A5 tent card.
Die-Namics Hexagon die set.
Christmas Paper (more of a card weight) Creata paper pads from NEC.
Sentiment stamps from Clearly Besotted "Signature Christmas"
