DREAMING OF SUMMER DAYS....

Well today's card is my DT card for yesterday's SKETCH SATURDAY....i decided to post it today instead of having two posts yesterday.
Cazza is our host this week and must say as come up with this fabby sketch...great sketch to work with.
Our sponsor is LISA B DESIGNS.....and we were lucky enough to pick a stamp of our own choice to work with...i went with Mika "Smelling A Flower"...so thank you for that Lisa that was kind of you.....i loved working with him,a dream to colour.There's a great prize up for grabs this week...the lucky winner will get four beautiful stamps from Lisa :0),can i enter...lol.
I used Promarkers and Prisma's...must have a change of colouring medium.
The sentiment is by Lilli Of The Valley and the papers are Basic Grey "Ambrosia" and "Archaic".
I 've used Prima flowers,velvet ric rac and self adhesive pearls from stash.

BEST WISHES....

Hi everyone....well it's Saturday again and that mean's we have a new challenge for you over at A GEM OF A CHALLENGE....we had a brilliant response to our last challenge,so a big thank you to all who came over and joined us in the fun!
This week our host is Jenny and she's come up with a fabby sketch for you to follow...
I've used a digi image of Janet's this week "Ella"...what a cutie she is,coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's...the papers are also from PINK GEM DESIGNS....from the "Cutie Pie" collection and were a perfect match for my image.
The silver/grey textured cardstock is Papermania as is the sentiment too....which i've stamped out using a "London Fog" Memento Ink pad...blends better with the card rather than me using a black ink pad which would have stuck out like a sore thumb :0).
For the border i've used a Martha Stewart punch....i must use my punches more often and the flowers have been cut using several Woodware,Ek succes and Xcut punches....i've spritzed the white flowers with a Cosmic Shimmer mist "Angel"..this is just perfect with my colour scheme,the shimmer changes from silvers to pinks...just gorgeous IRL,you may just be able to see it in the photo.
The swirls and corner were also cut with punches....Ribbon is Anna Griffin and gem brads and self adhesive pearls from stash.

POLLYCRAFT SWINGS AND SLIDES BLOG HOP....

For my card i got to work with "Love You Bunches"....now isn't she a cutie!....and a dream to colour!...i've used Promarkers and Prisma's as my colouring mediums and i've added a touch of glitter to some of the flowers.
The papers are all Basic Grey "Eva" and "Urban Prairie" and the sentiment was done on the computer using "Shelly Thin" font....i wanted it to look like a childs handwriting and i think this does.
The flowers are Petaloo and mixture of brads and gems are from stash.

Another week's rolled by....and that mean's it's time for two new challenges over at THE PAPER SHELTER and STAMPAVIE AND MORE.
This week at THE PAPER SHELTER we have the theme of "Scrap It"....we would like you to use some of those bits of paper left over from other projects...dig into that ever growing scrap mountain :0).
And at STAMPAVIE AND MORE this week we have a sketch....why not combine the two like i have.
When i saw the theme "Scrap It" i knew i just had to do some paper piecing...what better way to use your scraps up!
The image is "It's Bedtime"....you can purchase it HERE along with so many more gorgeous images and i must say not badly priced.
The parts of the image not paper pieced i've coloured using Promarkers and Prisma's.
The sentiment is by Katzelkraft and the hearts have been cut using Marianne Design "Hearts"dies.
The papers are all SU,brads and waxed twine from stash.

WHIMSY MARCH 1st DIGI RELEASE BLOG HOP....

Hi and welcome to the WHIMSY MARCH 1st DIGI RELEASE BLOG HOP....if you've arrived here from ANNEKE'S BLOG then you're in the right place,if not then you may want to start at THE WHIMSY INSPIRATIONS BLOG so that you don't miss anything along the way.
For my card i've gone with one of Crissy Armstrong's new digi releases "In The Dog House"...most of the image i've coloured with Promarkers and Prisma's....i've paper pieced the kennel with wood effect paper...not sure where i got this download from :0(.I printed the image off 3 times because i wanted to layer the dog up and give hime a 3D effect,so that he really is popping his head out of the kennel.
I put glossy accents on his nose,not showing too good in the photo.....for the sentiment "In the dog house" i used Doodlebug rub-ons "All Mixed Up" and the "Sorry" was hand written.
The background for the kennel i created with chalks.....and the flowers were cut using Woodware and Xcut punches.

Morning from a very dull and wet West Midlands.....
